Have you found out that you spend more time on the internet than watching tv.

I divide my time between both, but I think a lot more people are watching t.v. on the internet. There are so many ways to get television programming online, that it just makes more financial sense. I enjoy the internet, but sometimes I find all the reading and the screen to be too draining. Sitting on the couch, watching t.v. is much more relaxing. Also, I like being able to focus on one thing. On the internet, I feel like I'm constantly chasing the bright and shiny objects.

Probably. Except for today (today is the exception) I don't really use either. I only use the internet on my phone and occasionally at work. And rarely do I watch TV at all. Occasionally, maybe once a week, I'll watch Netflix. I guess I lead a sheltered life. LOL

I do spend time on the net but I guess, I spend more time watching cable tv shows than on the net. I usually spend an hour or perhaps two hours on the net and the rest is more on watching tv shows when I am free. Of course, most of the day, I am at work. I do use the net to communicate as well as update my websites and blog, but usually when I am doing so, I am also in front of the television.

Hi there HeavenSent87!!! Well I do notice that I am like this even before.But I think this much better coz I can learn a lot more in font of the pc rather that staying in front of the tv.I love computing more than watching tv coz in the computer I can access more places around the world.

Same here, I also spend a lot of time on the net rather than infront of the television. Partly because I don't find interesting tv shows lately other than the news. Another reason is I find myself addicted to downloading movies and tv series. I just recently completed downloading Seasons of "Friends" which is my favorite tv show of all time

In the internet , we can watch all the tv shows you want without waiting provided you got a decent internet connection. I bet everyone these a days ,spend more time in the internet.

After I got my cable TV I thought that I will spend a lot of time watching movies and all that. But unfortunately I have not seen a single full movie on it as I am always surfing the Internet. It does not make much of a difference as I get to watch important programmes on youtube etc.

It is exactly like me. Today I don't often watch TV because the time is precious. I can't waste it on watching TV. Besides, my dad likes to control the TV and I don't like the channels that he chooses. So if I have spare time, I will spend it on the internet and computer. It is meaningful for me to use the computer everyday. I can't be without the internet and it is a main part in my life. I love China

I think a lot of people are actually spending so much time on the Internet than watching TV. I, too, can't relate so much of the new shows/series now as I spent most of my time either outside or in front of the computer. We can see and read a lot of news here so maybe that's the reason why it's fun to be on the Net rather than watching the TV.

Yes, I like to surf the internet than to watch tv. I've noticed that I can only watch tv for less than 1 hour a day and sometimes not even a minute. I think most of my vacant time was spent in surfing with the internet. I just can't deny that internet can entertain me more than tv does.

Hello friend, Yes, indeed I spend almost all the time on the internet to make that extra money. But the worst thing is, I don't do any money at all! At the end of the day it feels like I have wasted another day of my life! Damn! Other than that, TV is never an option for me. Now a days TV programs are so boring and they are not updated on time. They show all the late news.

Yes you are right I spend more than 6 hours a day at the internet in regard to that I watch TV only 2-3 hours a day.

i have spend maximum time with internet rather than tv... though some tv serial i really like but still i love to spend time with internet.. because it gives us more benefit than tv..

I have spend more time on the internet than watching tv,aside from it's part of my work, i really don't love watching tv that much. You can have all the entertainment you want on the net. You can watch movie, tv, the news, game as well as earning bucks! That's why i think am already hooked unto it, considering spending more than half of the day, daily on the net!

I enjoy the internet very much. I spend more time viewing the internet than watching television on regular networks. When I do watch television I enjoy the old classics much more than the new stuff. I watch a lot of clips on youtube and I watch Netflix. Television lacks the quality programming it once gave us. It's saddens me that over 200 channels can't provide better entertainment.

I certainly spend more time on the internet than I do watching television. There seems to be so much more to see and do on the internet, not too mention that the internet is interactive. Even when I watch television I am usually surfing the internet at the same time.

All the people I know are kinda like you, I tried to start up a conversation with my cousin about a few TV shows I like to watch and asked her if she watches them. She told me that she spends to much time on the computer, she doesn't bother watching the TV anymore. My friends don't even touch the TV, they do watch their TV shows but online instead. There was this TV show that my friend loved to watch and it just started on TV. My friend just went online and watched the whole series already and on TV, the program just started. I sometimes watch TV while I'm on the computer, I usually wait for my computer to boot up. I have a few favorite TV shows that I watch and I could watch them online but I find it more exciting watching it in my lounge room with the TV. But technology has evolved so much, the computer is so convenient we don't even touch the TV or radio anymore.

I enjoy both the internet and the TV. Wile I am completing my online jobs, the TV is also on. I read news on Yahoo and also watch it over the television. I cannot live without both the internet and the TV, the former as a source of earnings while the latter for entertainment. The television keeps me company while I am alone at home doing my online job.

I only watch t.v at night, LOL. or if i feel tired typing here. LOL. Sometimes, i just sit here in front of the computer whole day.. I can do many things with my computer. I can watch movies, at the same time surf the internet. So, watching t.v is much ignored. LOL.
