My friend and I plan to put up a manpower agency here in our place. Part of my task is to know the important things associated with the business. Anybody here have idea about this business, please feel free to put your comments. I need to know the basics like how much we need to be able to start a local employment agency and all those stuff. As to how to negotiate with companies and the hiring process is not a problem anymore. Both of us work as Personnel Supervisor before, so we are familiar and in a way knowledgeable about the hiring process. What we want to know is your idea if its really a good business to start and if you have personal experience and knowledge about it, your opinion and advice.

I have one suggestion for you. Provide free training to your workers before deploying them to companies. Give them some kind of motivational training and what to expect in the workplace. Provide them with sufficient information on what deductions and benefits they should look forward to. Choose your workers carefully because the kind of manpower that you will provide the companies will be the reflection on what kind of agency you have. Skilled workers are highly in demand in any company particularly those with knowledge in engineering, waste water and maintenance. Provide companies with quality workers and in no time you will find success and profitability in this endeavor.

hi longbangod! to be honest with you, i really am not familiar with the pros and cons with that kind of business. however, i know that it is a good business because i know that there is a big demand for contractual people in small and big companies in terms of manpower. there is a manpower agency here in our area who have a great demand for household helper. people trust manpower agency in screening people whom they will hire in their household or companies that are already trained and screened. a lot of my friends have gotten their household helpers from the said agency instead of going to the process of going to the province and hiring inexperienced personnel and whom are only recommended by friends or acquaintances. so with this said, i really wish you well and hope your business will prosper. Good luck and more power! have a nice day! lovelots, faith210
