HELP! please can't install software from zip file have you ever had this issue?

Sigh! I'm trying to install intel 82801 controller update but it's in one of those stupid zip files, and there is no way to install it without a another zip program I tried zip 7, but it opened the file in a parts and I don't see an installer, an someone please HELP! me I'm getting a bit frustrated, thanks folks.

Well Windows does have its own unzip program, and you can usually try to open the file and windows will unzip it for you. If you've tried this failed and ended up using a third-party unzip file, then look for the "part" that has the file extention .exe on it. This stands for execute, and will often be the "install" option you're looking for. Sometimes the .exe file is labeled setup, install, or the name of the driver you're trying to install.
But, like I said, it's better if you let the computer do it. Often if you restart (and the update is required) Windows will attempt to install the driver during the boot process. I've opened and run many .zip files successfully most of them being programs I've downloaded from the internet. I hope this little tid bit helps you any.
