Friends of My lot. I got such e-mail from my lot as in the subject:Notification from my Lot" This is a notification from myLot.
Your answer has been deleted because the question it was under was deleted.
Original Question Title: What doYou prefer for breakfast in the mornings?
Thank you for using myLot!
My question is if this is already from mylot or a "scam"?
There is some of you that received such e-mail from my lot?
Thanks.

I would be very surprised if this were the first Notification you have ever received. I get many every day (but that is because I often like to warn people when I can see that they haven't read the rules).
Yes, it is certainly from MyLot. The discussion was very likely deleted because it was a "poll type" question - one which doesn't actively encourage good quality responses, even though yours may have been. You don't need to worry too much if your response or comment was deleted. It makes sense, however, to know the Guidelines and to know what kind of discussions are likely to be deleted (and which you should therefore ignore to avoid wasting time).

I've also received notifications like that. Mylot admits, are deleting post that did not qualify in there guidelines, That's why it is deleted. Next time try to choose or respond to a discussions that is very good.

You User Rating goes down only because it represents (approximately) the number of discussions in which you have taken part. (I'm sure you know that but I feel it necessary to correct you because newer members may take it the wrong way!)
If a discussion to which you responded is deleted, you, logically, cannot 'take part' in it if it no longer exists, so your User Rating (and any earnings which may have been added because of your response) is adjusted accordingly. You don't lose any 'brownie points' or reputation at all when that happens.

Thank all of you for your comment.
In my opinion such behavior of deleted answers because of violation from some friend in my lot that make a bad discussion is bad.My lot can down Rating, points and earning from him and not from that one who wrote an answer - to a discussion that exist at the same time.

Dear friend, the FAQs are clear on Mylot, no surveys.
So no discussion of the type you prefer this or that?, White or black? one or zero?, etc..

It is not a scam and it happens to many of us when we respond to things that are like polls. Things like asking favorites or discussions that really can not be discussed, but are just calling for one or two words.

This is what is referred to as a poll question and via MyLot's [strict IMHO] T&C, it is a deletable discussion as there is no discussion about it.
I know it sucks and a lot of my Discussions have been taken down as well. Thankfully, most of them are of the variety of very short ones and not ones that I take a lot of time to actually think about and type.
Thanks.

Hi as2006,
That seriously surprises me, I have never heard of myLot deleting a message with such an innocent title of a discussion, it is amazing. Yet at the same time after not being back for long now there has been a lot of changes here..
Take Care

hi as2006 no if you got a notification from mylot admins it is not]a scam. where did you ever get that idea?Mylot does not do scams and you must have checked the things you wanted to g et notifications from mylot on so how can you say they are scams.Mylot is a most
legitimate site and always has been.you need to read the guidelines to better acquaint yourself with dos and don'ts of making discussions so you can recognize a discussion that has broken the rules.Your response was deleted because the discussion broke the poll type rule.

HI there as2006,
Yes I have been receiving notifications too. But don't worry it is not a scam. It is really from myLot. One of the reason that post was deleted may be because there were other discussions that are very similar to that. If you have read the guidelines it is prohibited to write a very similar discussion as others made. Maybe someone else have made this type of discussion before or myLot may have seen this as a poll type question so that might be the reason for deletion.

You are a very careful and inquisitive person, bro. But that's good. I have got that email too but took no notice of it. As enelym001 said it was not a scam. It really came from the right source. The notification seem automatic. The sentence and phrase are the same as others got.

hi as2006! i had received a notification like that once but i realized that it a legitimate notification from mylot. i did some further research on it why it was deleted and i found out that the discussion i participated in has violated one of the rules/prohibitions here. it is kinda sad though when you participate in a discussion and then found out that it got deleted.
have a nice day dear friend!
