hi ronnyb! i agree with the other friends here that is is indeed a nice idea. oh well, if i am going to write myself a letter, it will go like this:
Dear Me,
I love you so much! Be brave in dealing with life. Failures and disappointments are a part of it so don't be dismay. God will be with you all the time. Pick up the pieces together and strengthen yourself. Have the courage to stand up again and face life again with a big bold heart. Count your blessings. God will never forsake you even if you think that help never comes on time. Just remember that you are His Child and He only wants the best for you. Live life to the fullest. Enjoy each day..and never take yourself for granted. Learn to forgive. Love yourself!
Love,
Me
i guess this is what i want to tell myself for today. Maybe tomorrow it would be different, who knows. hehe.. have a nice day! God bless!

You know what I would want to do is to write a letter to myself in the past from my current point of view, kind of like the song Letter to Me.
I would have to say:
Dear Dorann,
I know that right now it looks like things in your life are tough, but if you just hang in there you are going to get to where you want to be. It isn't going to come to you easily, but with the determination that you have you will have a husband, children and, yes, even a house of your own.
When you are in your early thirties your husband is going to go through some health struggles, but it will be something that you will be able to get through. Just remember that no matter what is going on in your life, you have to remember to take a little bit of time for yourself.
Love,
Your future self.

Writing a letter to yourself! This sounds quite ridiculous at first but come to think of it... it is just another level of contemplating about yourself which we normally do. But this time you are doing it by writing. Well it sound exciting so I wanna try this. My letter is just brief and straight to the point. This is it:
"Dear self,
You've been working hard the past few weeks and I believe you deserve some rest. So don't forget to take even a short out of town vacation this month okay! I Love you and take care always!"

I would tell myself to stop being so wasteful with my money. I will never get out of debt or maybe even get into more debt if I don't change my ways.

There's a few things that I would like to write to myself about. Foremost would be about health. I know that I've been feeling a few things, so I would like to put in writing that I want ME to get checked out by a doctor. To finally have some resolutions about knee issue, and that other thing!
I hope I read MY letter!

Dear tatzkie,
I know that sometimes things happen, please try to accept them with all your heart. Be more understanding about life. And please stop procrastinating, do what you need to do, and last please stop nagging to your husband, stop saying bad things to him. He is very kind and patient to you, so please, do the same.
LOL. that's my letter to myself.

I would first remind myself to live life to the fullest. I often find that I get caught up in the day-to-day tasks and forget how to TRULY live. Then I would remind myself to do as I say. This is in reference to my children mostly. I am always encouraging them but I often find myself doing the opposite of what I tell them to do. I would also remind myself that I must take a few lessons from my kids because they do tend to live life and not worry about what others think.

This is a very good question! I would probably write to my younger self and it would say something like this...Dear LL, don't be in such a hurry to grow up. You have your whole life to do grown up things so cherish your younger years while you have them. Also you are fabulous! Don't ever let anyone tell you any different! Believe in yourself and have faith that you can accomplish great things!
PS That boy you have such a crush on...RUN AWAY as fast as you can! LOL

When you write a letter, it's like talking to someone you love. Forget that you are pitching not listen, in fact. Forget that you have no guarantee that you will read. You go get and write with confidence, with joy, with faith that you will be heard.
Sometimes we need to write letters, to heal our loneliness. When writing to someone, you can not you feeling alone in the world. Already have a witness fullness of your heart and soothe your mind you're getting an answer, even if not necessarily be so.
But there is a world of infinite written words were never read. Thoughts tamed ink which never reached the eyes or the heart of which have been addressed. Millions of manuscripts which went to print and have not known the joy of reading, although they have been written with the desire to reach one's soul.
And there are entire journals written only for those who have written. Full volumes of letters to ourselves, meant to remind us of us who have been or who I promised that we will be.

Hi ronnyb...
Well it is a good question :). I start to be a little narcissism :D.
Ummm... I would say :
Dear Ocha, could you stop being nice ? Don't you sometimes want to be a rebel ?
Hahah I think it would be like that. A letter that suggest me to be rebelious :D that would make me think twice.
