Nothing good to respond to what to do?

This discussion is discussion number 2,621,706. Let's just say that half of the discussions have been deleted (by far an exageration though), that would still leave over one million discussions still available. We can find them in the tabs above, in the profile of our friends (who probably have the same interests as us) and by using the search to find those of our own interest which we might not be aware of. Having said that, there is never a day when I find it impossible to find an interesting discussion to participate in. I also have many notifiers unopened which hold dicucssions which my friends started that I have not seen yet. If all else fails, I stil have many comments to make on my own started discussions so there is always somewhere to participate here. It is lack of time and not lack of interesting topics that is the problem.

Well if there is nothing that seems to be interesting me on this day, I tend to start digging into topics posted about five years or so ago or whatever. That rather seems to be rather interesting. A little peak through a different time right here at myLot. Of course, if I am that selective about topics, that might be a sign that I need a day off to recharge from this website. Thankfully I do not get rather that picky that often where there never seems to be anything to post. There are just going to rather to be a lot of times however where there seem to be a lot of slow days on this website. I think that there are times where I feel that I only have a certain amount of time, so I don't run out of discussions. But when out ground starts being covered again(from months and months back mind you), then things get frustrating.

Let me try this again. My last response was flagged from MyLot. -- Do you find yourself on mylot looking for good discussions to respond to? Yes I do. I try to find well-written articles that have substance and is something that I can add some insight/thought/comment/perspective on. No I don't reply to discussions that are hard for me to understand for whatever reason, is not something that pertains to me (something about kids and I don't have kids, etc...), or something I am fairly sure is going to be deleted anyways from MyLot (what is your favorite color?) And yes, there are days when there are almost no discussions and some that I just can't keep up but I try not to allow that affect how and what I respond to. Hopefully that is more Politically Correct to MyLot and won't be snubbed this time. Apologies if you had to read the same idea coming from my head twice. Zelo

I have met such experience, sometimes i can't find good discussions to respond, and i will wait for a while. I don't reply to the first discussion one by one. Because for those discussions i am not interested, i find hard to make good responses.

Hi lologirl! I'm very much like you. I am always on the lookout for discussion topics that prompt me to comment something meaningful and if I can't find many that fit the expectation, I lose interest. My commenting reduces oftentimes to very few on some days even when I do have time on hand because of lack of good topics to get involved in. Of course, I don't mean heavy, philosophical or tech stuff. It could even be just the ordinary things but some discussions simply don't turn me on!. I am also on certain forums so when I don't find enough discussions that trigger comments here, I move over to those discussion boards.

Yes this happens sometimes. But then i try to log in after a few hours, and respond to a few discussions i like and then just leave the site, but i keep on checking for something interesting.

There hasn't been many good discussions on here lately. I stayed away for awhile because there was nothing to respond to so I didn't see a point of being here. But if something comes up that interests me then i'll respond to it. But lately it's been repeated discussions so I don't bother. Hopefully we get new people and better discussions to make this site more interesting then it is.

Perhaps you can initiate a discussion that we can respond to. That would be your own choice of topic, so for sure, that will keep your interest to stay here longer. Then you can comment to your respondents which would be easier and interesting for you because you are the original poster of the discussion.

There are different days, some are interesting, other not so much. But if you search better you could always find something for you. Good luck!

Well whenever I receive notice that one of my friends started a discussion, I'll go check it out. That's what I done with the discussion you started here. If it's something I'm interested or I feel I can contribute to, then I will reply. When I get on here just to browse around, I always try to find something interesting to read and comment on. If I can't, I just log off and try again later on, or wait until the next day.

I usually try to find discussions that interest me or a discussion I can give a good answer to. I'll go through pages and pages of discussions and only answer a few here and there. It kind of annoys me because I wish I could respond to more. If there's ever not a discussion for me to answer, then I'll just make my own.

I will simply respond to a discussion if I have something relevant to say. If I have no particular thing to say, then I will just skip to the another discussion :). What happened if I can't found any "interesting" discussion? Well, I think I will just leave myLot for a while..

in the matter of fact that i didn't find any that suit my pleasure, then i tried to participate in task. but to be sincere, i always find, and i tried to participate +ly, it is a very great site for discussion, where i find many and even hast my intellectual.

hi,since i am beginner so for this reason everything is new to me in mylot, and found many interesting discussion on mylot to respond.but i did not respond to every discussion. i responds to only those discussion that looks me interesting.and for that i am searching for that type discussion that give me some information or that i wanted to know. and if any day i did not able to find such type of discussion then just do task that are available in mylot.in my opinion thas is right thing to respond only to those discussion in which you are interested.some people responds like you discussed.

I respond to discussions that interest me. Lots of times this happens to me that i don't like any discussion to respond to. At such a times i try to discover something which i have never seen on mylot. I open my previous posts and read them. I go to tasks. Go to blogs.(fk) And if bored more then leave mylot.
