I was thinking about the difference between what's "right" and what's "good". Let's say that there's an old homeless man on the streets. There's a truck nearby, and it crashes. The back of the truck is filled with bread, which spills out onto the street. Then, the old man goes to snatch a few loaves for his own. This is an example of what's "good", but not exactly what's right. Yet, the old man would've definitely starved if he hadn't stolen those loaves, right? So, it would've been for his own good... Well, which side would you be on, "right" or "good"?

no one will just lay down and die and neither we should that is the sad part of life these days people will become desperate, I say not everything is black and white and everything in life should be examined with compassion.

it may not be legally right, but it would be morally proper to let him have some bread. Heck, the company transporting the bread would probably be obligated to throw it away anyway, due to being scattered on the ground. Companies have to cover themselves like that. A middle ground would be ideal...he asks for some bread AFTER making sure the driver and other bystanders are ok...?

Looks like you guys are taking it more logically, instead of through feelings... lol. Well, I guess if it's been thrown on the ground, the bread would technically be free for homeless people. Let's say that the truck just keeled over, the back of the truck's open, but none of the bread spilled out. What happens now?
