So how many of us really was just logging in to facebook to see if we were tagged to a picture, or an event? I think for me, most of the time when we had events, parties or dinner and lunches with friends.. when a picture is taken, i am almost always expecting to be tagged to the photo! haha Sometimes its weird already that right after the picture was taken i would hear friends saying please tag in facebook! =) Gone are the days we would be requesting for friends to give us copies of the actual picture reprinted... :D Now, we request copies of our pictures through facebook!

Hi Chiyo! Actually I don't like my friends tagged me or even postpictures that have me on it on facebook. For me, it is not right to post somethings that we are in without our permission. If you allowed and you want it to be in facebook then it's fine. But I am the ooposite. I would rather like my friend to send me a copy of the pictures through email than facebook as I don't want others to see it.It is hard sometimes to deal with those friends who like to post pictures in facebook and somehow my picture is there too~ About the tag everytime I get an email I will get there and remove it.(^^)

So true! This is just the evidence that we people are sociable. We wanted others to see that we are in the company of our friends and enjoying ourselves. That happens to me too. Every time we are out, even during the moment that we are having get-together, we would be asking each other if they have posted the picture in FB. Thanks to Wifi and Adroid or iphones that are making this all possible. We also have to check-in at the place we are in :)

I would chiyosan, but only for those pictures available in family and close friends group It's really great we will get email notify if photos are tagged for I could see the photos they are making fun with. But most of the time there are photos taken recently in their respective camera. They are just for the sake to send to me in such a convenient way. Moreover all the group members could share them at the same time as well

Yeah! I remember the days when my friends would borrow the negatives of our pictures to have it reprinted so that they can have their own copy. Now our dialogue is, "upload it at Facebook, okay?". And I think it's advantageous in the sense that more pictures are taken and you can take silly pictures without having to worry about wasted printing. And more people can see it at the same time and comment at the same time. ^^

I do have same interest before but right now I am not interested if my friend will tagged me or not. It is just that when I log in on Facebook which I seldom do, I just remember those pictures when I saw it on the profile of my friends. I take a look at that picture and that is how I found out that I was tagged. I saved my photo on usb and I do not share it, or if I have time I separate the good photos and that is what I share on my own photo album there, which I seldom do too. Before I plan to have a camera so that when we have gatherings with my friends I have my own photo and I do not mind about tagging, but now I do not mind at all. Maybe because I am not into Facebook anymore. Yes I remember those times that we have a camera film and we usually borrow that film and we will recopy the pictures so that we have our copy, but not due to technology we no longer do that and picture tagging is the easiest and most accomdating thing to do. Thanks to technology.

I actually I hate it when I'm tagged and I look ridiculously on the photo I would normally untag myself. But still it is nice that it is so much easily to have our own copies of photos, we won't need to ask for negatives or copies as it is there already. I usually hate people tagging me promoting their products I immediately delete it, but if it's from a good friend of mine it's fine I let it stay there.

This is both a good and a bad thing. When you market on FB, some spammers think its cool to randomly tag you to a picture of something related to what they are selling. The first part of their theory is correct, by tagging me to the picture you've almost forced me to look at whatever it is. But that is where the problem comes in. Who says that I am interested in what you have to offer? The only reason I even look at these pictures is to go back and REMOVE the tag that shouldn't be there.....That's the next thing FB needs to tackle, tag spamming.

well, yes that is true. that is why inmy account i have a profile review. hehe i hate those people who kept tagging me in their photos just so i can view them, most are usually items being sold, perfumes, dresses, shirts, face creams... hehe
