Whether your going to work or going to school/college, Monday is laziest day. After the weekend we all tend to take extra rest, so most of time monday seems to be very laziest day in the week. On the other days we use to make quick move to work place but on monday we have always Dilema whether to go or not. How about your mondays, Share your thoughts. Have a nice day !

Yes, I share the same feelings! Monday is a lazy day and this is all because we find it hard to get over from past 2 days off. Every Monday as I wake up I feel like it is hard to keep up on my toes. I feel the bed is pulling me down so I'd sleep more. Actually because Monday has always been a lazy day for me I have been proposing to declare Monday a holiday all year round. But sorry for me, it can never be.

Oh yes that is right! Any first working day after a long vacation will always be lazy. So declaring all Mondays as holiday is non-sense. Ha!ha!ha! But wait I have another crazy idea....why not just interchange things. Make Saturday and Sunday working days while Monday through Friday are all rest days. Maybe if we have longer rest days we will not feel lazy working for just 2 days anymore. Ha!ha!ha! Don't take this proposal seriously. I am just joking!

Hi, Yaso, this is too good to be through:D I don't have a regular work schedule and when I have to work on a Monday, it is a regular working day for me. But years ago we had a joke about one of our neighbouring countries. We use to say that people there don't work on Saturday and Sunday because this is the weekend. On Monday they relax from the weekend, on Tuesday they prepare for work. Wednesday is a working day! On Thursday they relax from work and on Friday they prepare for the weekend. This is a fantastic schedule, isn't it?

Mondays are hectic and lately every day is a monday at work. We are so busy at work with so many jobs to start and then to finish its been really crazy lately but i like it when it is busy the time goes by faster and then im home and working at home then. Mondays cant be my lazy days at work and i have to be at work on monday to start the guys off and get htem going and let htem know about there week too. Of course i write guys schedules on the board but there is to many things going on i cant keep up at work sometimes. My guys are on work overload and there complaining but im glad there getting the work done at least. I work for aoncstruction company and thisyear has seemed to pick up for us and im glad and i hope this year stays like this as well.

Monday is really one of those days where it is hard to really get going right on the right foot. In fact, it is just one of those days where productivity just tends to fly right out of the window like one would not want to believe. There are just going to be times where it does really feel as if we are not going to really do something right on a Monday. I think that part of the reason is that we feel too rested from the weekend. Even if there is still much to be done during the weekend, there is just something from our minds where we are going to struggle to get it done. Therefore, there are just going to be many times where it is hard to get right off on the correct foot on Monday. Yet we must for many reasons.

Megamatt, your correct. In monday's the productivity will tends to decrease all over the world, I too noticed this in an work place. it always come back to real work form after lots and lots of rest. Monday may be intial day of the week but it doesn't show any productivity !

Yes this is so true . Monday mornings are really very lazy , i guess because of the relaxed weekend. Nobody wants to get up early after weekend and start work again.

I guess most people feel the same way about Mondays. However, I can't say I'm one of them. Mondays seem to liven me up. It makes me raring to go and make up or improve on the things I've done the past week. I have goals I want to achieve and I break these up into weeks. So at the end of the week, I assess how far I am from accomplishing these goals. The weekends are sort of a recharging period for me.

My Monday no doubt, it is the laziest day too. I would want to spend the extra day in bed during the winter time. But I still have to make money though. That is the no choice at all for me. I hope that we can all overcome the laziness that inside of ourselves, and make the effort to work.

If I am working on something good, and I am thinking of my goal, I am excited to work on a Monday. But if I am thinking that I am doing all of the stuff to earn money or to earn a living, and I am thinking everything to be a routine, Monday is like the worst part of the week.

Yes caryle your correct, most of the time our thinking is responsible for our attitude. If we felt to achive something then we are first to work on monday otherwise it will be very normal and hard day to pass. Monday is just opposite to friday, where we eagerly waiting for rest and enjoyment. Have a nice day caryle !

Yes, you are quite right and I can't agree more. Always Monday is the most bored day for us, and after two days' relax everyone doesn't want to work.
