Hi Friends, Its not the number of Call and Message alerts you get in your phone. But most of us have a tendency to look in the phone and see whether any miss calls or messages are there, even if the phone has been in General or Vibration mode. we can see people doing this many times when waiting in a Queue or Travelling in bus. Some people want to check their mobile window twice in a 10 minutes. Do you have such habit? And how often you Check your mobile? Nice Time.

Hi! I seldom check my phone unless i am expecting some messages that is important. If i am accurate, i think i check in the morning upon waking up or if i could hear a message alert tone. Also, before going to sleep at night, i usually use my phone as alarm clock so i am able to check for messages or miss calls first before i set my alarm.

Thats fine my friend and keeping the mobile in the general mode itself is better thing. Sometimes vibration mode cannot be detected and we may miss some important calls or messages.

Hi there! I don't use much of my cellphone so I rarely look at it if I got nothing to do with it. For some people who use their cellphone too much they will have such tendency to look at it without any reasons. hmm..let me check my cellphone now...(^^)

Yes, I do. And sometimes I get disappointed when I don't receive anything. I get a little excited when there are many new messages but if I don't receive for a few hours, I get disappointed a little. I look at it twice every hour.

It's usually in silent mode and vibrating because I'm always at school but when I'm at home, it's loud. Even if I don't hear it ring or even if it doesn't vibrate, I still check it because maybe I have missed the vibration or the ring, just to be sure.

Hi friend, Yeah its a common habit seen in many of us. Looking in to the phone twice in a hour is not a bad thing but some people do that very frequently like 10 to 15 times in an hour. How do you keep your mobile usually?loud mode or silent or in vibration mode?

I don't look at my phone unless I'm getting a phone call or text message... Oh, and being on line... I have iPad & I bring it with me most of the times so it's rare that I go on line with my phone... When I'm trying to set up something to do with friends, I will look at what other friends text messaged me with so I can relay the message to other friends who are involved... But I don't really look at my phone all that much... I wear watch so I don't need to look at my phone to see what time it is, either...

Hi friend, its better to use mobiles only if it is needed. All mobiles are having radiation. And its amount varies with mobile to mobile.

I fully agree with you friend. Today we are living in radiations. And each mobile phone has dofferent frequency and all the dignals are around us. The use of mobile phones gradually cause many serious health hazards. Only thing that we can do is just reduce the phone usage and follow some way of usages to reduce radiations like use of headsets, avoiding calls while low network coverage, keep phone to ears only after ringing at the other side.etc

Hi there...I'm not really into cellphone, but now, i have my special someone, i really can't help to look and check my cellphone from time to time, hoping that there are some text messages from him, or perhaps a call. But of course, I'm not only waiting for some messages from him but to some of friends as well, I do love receiving quotes and sayings so i will be very glad to receive them.

I dont check mine often. Usually just when i hear it. If im expecting a call and dont hear it i will keep looking. Because it has a tendacy to turn off for no reason what-so-ever. Battery in full charge. It also has a tendacy to not ring at a incoming call. Just goes to voice message. Text will usually come through with no problem. Usually. I also check it to tell me the time.

I really don't think that I have a habit of checking my phone on a really regular basis. Now, I will look at it when I actually wake up in the morning and I will look at it after I've stepped away from it for an extended amount of time. But most of the time I just kind of ignore it unless it rings or unless the text message chime goes off. The reason for that is that it is typically close to me so the chances that I will miss a message or a call are actually pretty slim.

Hi friend, How you doing?so happy to see your response. And sorry for the delay in replying. Its better not use mobiles frequently. When we look in the mobiles its a wastage of battery energy. And the usage of mobile phones should be reduced to avoid serious health hazards in future.

I do check my phone always, specially when i am always not on my table, where it is. It might be that i just didn't hear the alert , so i check my mobile phone once in a while. That way, i could see if there are urgent messages from my boss.

Thats good, friend. Keeping mobiles in one mode only is better. For me,i have to use silent mode in my college and i usually will be in general mode outside the campus. Sometimes i forget to switch the mode. So sometimes i have to check my mobile whether i switched the mode or not... Do you use silent mode or vibration mode?

I only used vibration mode, when i am in a meeting or at church. The rest, it has to be in general mode.

Hi friend, i very rarely use vibration mode as its really a disturbance while in a class room or meeting. We cannot concentrate in class and that tempt us to take phone out from pocket and check.

If I just bored I just used to see my mails and my cell phones to see I have new messages or new miscalls. I am not bored, I just used to see my cellphones only if I hear a ring from it.

Hi friend, Nice to get your response. I think you are responding to this discussion second time. Friend using phone whenever needed is the best policy. Otherwise its a wastage of charge and we get exposed to radiations.

I used to check my cell phone only when it rings or when it vibrates. There where many instants which made me to look my phone without a ring or vibrations. I was waiting for an important call and I need to attend those immediate calls. I looked my phone at all the time becuase I don't want to miss those calls.

Hi friend, Nice to get your response. It is good thing to keep mobile always in general mode(loud mode) so that we wont miss any notification. But in some places like classroom or in a meeting we need to make it silent or switch off.right?so in such situations do you keep in vibration mode?

I do check my phone to see if I have lost any calls or text messages sitting there to be read, especially when I know I did hear my ringtone alerts, lol. I spend like around 5min checking them (unless they reply or call back, its longer). Normally, I can find out when I do get them right away when I'm out, as I do play with my phone by using game apps, watching movies, listening to music, etc, and my ringtones rings right in front of me, lol.

Yeah, I see lots of people on their phones while riding the bus. And they're not doing it twice every 10 minutes, they do it the WHOLE TIME. I'm pretty sure they're just texting friends or whatever. Maybe playing some games or listening to music as well. A phone these days can perform many functions that older phones couldn't. While I don't check my phone 24/7 I do hold it close for texting. Sometimes I get bored and play some pong, lol. Phones are magic!

I look at my phone when I have nothing to do like when I am waiting for someone at the bus stop, or waiting my wife while she is shopping. It's interesting to look at it because we can relieve our stress.

Friends, Using mobile phones only when it is needed is the best thing to save battery as well as to reduce radiations.and while keeping mobiles in pockets its better keep it in a way the screen facing towards our body. So that we can reduce radiation hitting on our body.

There are really people who just put their phone on the side. I also do that if I am not waiting for anything important. I even just put it in my bag...and just prefer to carry my itouch rather than that. There are really people who won't mind it..and seems like it is useless for them like most of the time. But we really need to have it just in case there is an emergency or other purposes that seem significant to us.
