But no earnings, just the satisfaction.
I cleared nearly 50 something unresolved discussions in one long sitting today.
I felt guilty having had such a big list of unresolved discussions.
Honestly, I had not paid [or was unable to pay] attention all this while. But no excuses; I had better attend to them at regular intervals.
I hope to have done justice, because I spent time on each one of them before marking.
myLot may not take liking to a mention of the number of BRs I marked and may not also like my friends thanking me here! It's fine.
How many unresolved discussions do you have on the list? What's your schedule?!

vandana: I know, that's a big dilemma in the case of many threads but I had to decie because unless the BR is marked, the discussions keep piling up in the 'unresolved' category. With a marginal error owing to time constraint, I went ahead and marked them all. . I am hoping I have not disappointed too many friends!

I think that almost all of the discussions that I've started on here are still not resolved. The reason that I haven't resolved the majority of the discussions that I've started is because of the fact that I really have a hard time choosing which response is the best response to a discussion.
I find it is hard to resolve discussions, even when it is something that I would like to do so I just choose to leave the discussions as unresolved.

It's perhaps an indication of the quality of your discussions as well as the involvement & interest shown by members on your discussions.

Hi Pushhyarag
I never had any unresolved discussions beyond 20 and I thought I was lazy But jokes apart, I know you have been busy. I normally do not give BRs easily. Take 3-4 months to settle out and yes, also I dont start too many discussions either. So it is not the kind of large numbers that I have as Pending.
I had a discussion during my first year here on this. They (most of the responders) said that Guidelines dont force you to mark out the BR and also, there is no specification of any time limit. The next thing I found was that many discussions keep getting responses even after a BR done. So they also advised me to wait for a while (about 2 months, that I eventually made up to 4 to suite me).
And hey, I got one too from you yesterday and the discussion was good. I like your discussions (ps: not a bribe for another br hehehehe)

Hey sids: there was an intermediate period when I probably had started far too many discussions [chewed more than I could bite ] which may have led to the mess. It has evened out well now.
Yes, guidelines don't force but guidelines do indicate that marking BR is a way of resolving the discussion. Which in spirit should be so, I guess if one takes a holistic view that discussions are started to elicit some kind of solution. Many discussions don't fit that bill though; because many are started as a matter of collection of thoughts from members as well as sharing our own.
I am probably veering round to a norm of marking BR a month after start of discussion whatever the state of responses till then.
You probably deserved more than one but I had no hint from you. otherwise.. . Quite a joke that. I crave gifts not bribes. Gifts-of freindship

Glad it's fine in here to do such though it's quite not prompt I love the friendly environment here that matters our availability...
50 something solving in one long sitting is a WOW Push! I can't do that but I love to do that too! It's just... I have migraine to look into *LOL... of course, on top of taking care of my 3 "naughty" kids *wink!...
Nice Push!

Oh Lhenni: no need to overstretch yourself; it's fine. You may do them at your pace while according priority for your health. Kids deserve more of the time and give it to them before anything else. Take it easy and trim it up all at your pace!

Hi Pushhyarag
I have a lot of them too whenever there's few discussions to respond on and I felt like I replied to almost all that interest me, I would go back to my own discussions and see whether there's unanswered comments yet that I have to reply back. While doing I'm trying my best to select which have given me a best response too. It's kinda hard sometimes especially when everyone gave their best response. Well, I would like to thank you as well for awarding me on of those, 'though I didn't really helped you at all in that discussion, you're the one that helped me there

I hope I wasn't dozing off intermittently while working on that big pile!
Managing multiple issues in myLot while there are multiple tasks even beyond myLot can be quite unnerving. You probably should have got more than one but I had too many on some of the discussions, as you rightly indicated. Just count if you haven't touched an unmanageable number on that 'unresolved' list and do something now!

Well i did about 5 discussions yesterday and iw ill wait till the end of the month or about 30 days to get them resolved and i will check at the end of every month and get them done. I look at them on a general basis to see if anyone has written anything else under them of course. I do try to read them and comment when i can as well and stay up to date with them as well.
I work a full time job and try to do mylot when my bosses are gone as well so i can get in some more money as well. Everything pays off in the end when trying to do alot but it might stress me out about making more money but i like moey so working it is for me and i dont mind my schedule at all. I might get tired but its ok with me.

Well lolo, as long as we have a purpose and we are willing to endure concomitant issues, it should be fine I think. Keeping up with all the comments made on any discussion does require significant time. I'm happy you manage to pursue. Take care while you focus on your goal!

Hi Pushhyarag2000,
I don't know if I have any unresolved discussions, certainly the issues others or I have raised therein are unresolved in the real world. For some there are solutions, for others there are not but in most cases the solutions would be pretty difficult to implement.
Anyway, sometimes I either forget to answer comments or I overlook them for some reason. In other cases it may also be prudent not to intensify a debate. But you're right, as for me, I should be a bit more duteous when it comes to ''maintenance'' :-)
Thank you btw for the BR over in the other discussion!!

Yes, stk: you got it right-it was a maintenance issue that I had to deal with. . Issues may seem devoid of solutions but all of them get resolved some way or the other some time. Welcome!

Pushyagag : thanks for selecting one of my responses as the best response. That ws first mail I saw today morning. You have worked during late night also yesterday. Great.
I have 20 unresolved discussions. Normally I believe in deciding early. But in mylot I have learnt to be relaxed and work and I will take them when I get more time.
Hope your father is keeping good health and you are in fine spirits.

Yes ravisivan; I had both time & mood yesterday to dig into all the pile of unresolved discussions and trimmed the list!
Father has some anxiety psychosis and I'm still trying alternatives to see how both purposes can be accomplished. Thanks for asking!
