This has been the oddest year of weather and natural phenomenons that I can remember. I personally, here in middle America, have gone through blizzards, super tornadoes, record high temperatures, drought and even earthquakes! Oh, yea, and there was the asteroid that passed closer to the earth than one has ever before! I'm seriously afraid to see what is coming next. Do you think that this was just a fluke year or do you think the world is on downward spiral?

I strongly believe that the world with not end or anything closely related to that idea. Humans have tried to predict the end of times for ages, and we still live. We will never be able to predict events as the one we are discussing about. Just because we had a bad year, does not mean that it is caused by something such as that. There have been many times in which we have been through worst situations, so a bad year is not necessarily a sign of anything. So keep living, have fun, and enjoy your life without any worries such as this.

I believe the world will end one day, only nobody knows when it will happen, maybe not anytime soon but from scientific findings, it will hapen surely..

In my opinion, yes it may be a sign that things are going in a downward spiral, but only for a small amount of time, So no. By "The end" do you mean the end of life on our planet as we know it, or the extinction of the human race? if so, then I think our planet will last much longer. Humans on the other hand, can go extinct at any moment, which is no different from other species. Nothing lasts forever after all.

The number of times people believed the world was coming to an end are countless and started only after man started speaking.
The more we use our brain time on the "what if's" the less time we have to do something positive with our lives.

I'm not asking if the world is going to end tomorrow. Because I'm pretty sure it won't in our lifetime (of course you never know) but do you think that all these natural disasters and phenomenons are the beginning of the downward spiral that could eventually result in the world ending?

I don'think so. Even before, there were many disasters like flood, earthquake, tsunami and so on. It is something like a natural thing and not because the world is ending. These kinds of disaster happens every year different parts of the world. The world will not yet end. I am firmly believe about this fact!

I don't think the world is ending. When I was still a small child there were humors that the world will in a certain year but until this time the world has never ended. If ever there is an ending, it would be the inhabitants that live in it but not the world itself.
