Headaches for me aren't exactly what others describe. I have very large pressure In my temples and also down the side of the top of my head... The weird thing is that it happens for 5 days out of every month and it is generally close to a new moon. I need ways to help my head and also maybe an explanation of why my head hurts the way it does...
My great grand father died of an aneurism and I'm afraid I might be next

Cole, like everyone has said already it is best to see the doctor and if they can prescribe medical advice or medication it will help out alot. I don't think it has anything to do with the phase of the moon. But you have a family history of aneurism ehich is kind of scary. Hope you have resolved your headache problem, I have one as I type and it's been with me for three days on and off.

Caffeine always works for me. Coffee or dark chocolate. If its still there then excedrin migraine as it has caffeine inside. Sorry you are not feeling well.

I would suggest that you see a doctor immediately especially if this headache is frequent and recurring. Also, check with an eye doctor because sometimes we think that our headaches are caused by some sort of illness when in fact all we really need are corrective glasses. I used to have really bad headaches before I found out that my right eye needs corrective lenses. The eye doctor said that I wouldn't actually feel like I need glasses because my left eye has 20/20 vision. Now that I have glasses, the headaches have lessened.

if its only part of your head, its a migrane. and that sure is weird being that it actually has some sort of schedule. i think it would be best for you to see a doctor to make sure of whats causing it. aside from the potential of a bad blood flow, i'm also thinking this may be caused by some sort of hormonal imbalance. just a hunch, i guess..

Hi Cole,
I would see doctor and seek for medical advise if I were in your situation. If you are experiencing this often than it should be then you need to take action to see the cause and what could minimize or prevent it from occuring. You should not ignore such pains. Hope you feel better.

may be u should change the rate of ur exercise, 'cos exercise helps the body a lot. u should also visit medical care consultant for more help, it is dangerous to keep such sickness with a levity hand. if it is in our country, people would have count it to a spiritual works.
pray u would not fall into the pith.

There are too many reasons why you experience headache. I'm also experiencing it right now. What's the cause of my headache is different from yours. It would be better if you will consult your Physician. The earlier the better.

Sometimes pains are a sign of psychological stress. Whenever a person is in a stressful situation physical symptoms tend to act up. I inferred from your post that this happens every month. I think you should also look at stress producing factors like at home or at your job and try to lessen these factors. If the problem persists go to a doctor. Tests such as CT-scans and MRI are able to detect early aneurysms and doctor's advice is always the best advice when it comes to health concerns.

This is known as constant headache, and I think look at your symptom, it,s low grade headache that coming uncertainly. Understanding the cause of constant headaches is very important to get rid from it.
You should meet the doctor specialist, medical check up to know more detail about your headache

Better yet consult now a doctor or a specialist to the brain. I don't think you just have the simple headache. Because if you say so, you can actually take medicine in our pharmacy. If you go to a doctor, you will know the answer and might cure your headache problem.

hi:)
I suggest you go to a doctor because sometimes headache is a symptom of other illness,it's hard to self medicate especially if you don't know whats the right medication for that. better to be sure.

Hi cole,
I am not an expert in medical field nor a doctor but i can give you good suggestion. Drink lots of water when ever possible, then it may be good. I too had headache for some time but if i take lots of water then it will went away. Also apply oil to your head, it may make you cool. These two methods I adopted and I felt ok with it. Try this and share the result.
If you felt more problem, then its better to consult the doctor for best result.

That stinks. It sounds almost like migraines. The only thing I do when I have headaches is I try to lay down. Sleep almost always helps my headaches, no matter how bad. Tylenol might help too. But if it's a regular thing it could be allergies or migraines, in which case, if you can go to your doctor (like someone else suggested) they might be able to suggest some things OR prescribe some medication that can help you through it...The best thing is to get in as soon as you can!

I would tell you to take s ome caffeine pills but if you take them at night then you wont be falling asleep but when my boyfriend has migraines i have him take excedrin and they do have excedrin in PM form that might help you out as well. If none of this helps i would seek help with a doctor and see if he can prescripe you maybe some type of form of headache tension medicine and tell him about your grandfather and medical history so he can help you out with it. Goodluck with everything and have a great night.

The best thing to do is for your to see a doctor. Especially since you have a medical history in your family. With the many illnesses abounding now, sometimes you see 2, 3 or more illnesses with the same symptoms and it's the experts who can tell what and can prescribe which medication to take.
