@yanzalong friend.. to the extent of my knowledge... ipad is only for the Apple tablet... all others are called as tablets not ipad i did not mean to offend u just that even many of my friends us the term ipad and ipod for all other products... but they are only for apple tablets and apple music players :)
and secondly.. mylotting can be done with any device in this world that has a browser and an internet connection.. and android tablets have a in buit browser so yes u can mylot with it...

emraantermin, you seem to know a lot about mobile devices. Thank for the info. Say by the way, what are you using to mylot, ipad or tablet?

I have used my Android cell phone to post to mylot. But since its a cell phone, the print was small and took me a while to type everything. However, a pad would work just fine. Its larger and the browsing would be bigger because it is a pad. You would just need to know your log in info and remember you're at the mercy of the connections you have redilly availble to you.

Apart from difficulty in using cellphone or android-based phone because of its small display, mylotting is still possible. I mean we can post and respond to a discussion. That's great. I think I'll have a look at some affordable ipad to be used while traveling. Thank you guys for the info. Happy mylotting.

I think that you are confused.
The iPad is not an Android device but other tablets are. Both iPad and Android tablet devices can access the Internet and can be used for MyLot provided that they support Java (which both do). Text entry using the on screen keyboard is possible but far slower than with a keyboard. Add on keyboards are supported by many tablets and would be useful if one were planning to use the device for this more than occasionally.
Android phones and iPhones can also be used in the same way but, since the screen is far smaller and text entry is more difficult, it is barely practicable. I have used a Samsung Galaxy phone to interact with MyLot

Hi owlwings, Thank so much. I have learned a lot from this discussion. When my money is enough, I'll consider buying it definitely. Happy mylotting.

I guess mylotting using phone is anywhere as long as you have wi fi phone and be able to open browsers. I also use my phone sometimes to and I think your android-based ipad will work too as long as you have wi fi and be able to browse. gluck

Hi kyle2krystel, Why should I use wifi? I have a simcard designed for browsing. No matter how long I am online, the cost is fixed. If I have to use wifi, there wil be another cost incurred because wifi in my citiy is not free.

Hi there Yanzalong,
I can still use my itouch while I am traveling and that is if I have a network connection. I am trying to look for some hot deals with postpaid plans for me to be able to log in in here most of the time.
We have a wifi connection before at work..but now, the router got broken so we couldn't do anything online anymore while we are not busy at work.
I could not bring my laptop on any wifi spot since it would be a great hassle for sure.
maybe a postpaid plan is really a great idea.
Have a nice day!

Thank for the info. I now know that mylotting using cellphones is possible although it is a bit slower but it should be fine instead of not mylotting at all.
