fast heart beat

guys.,.,., my heart has been beating abnormally since 2 months but im feeling everythig else normal.,..,i consulted a doc and he asked me give some couple of tests(around 9,10),,but i ignored it.,.. Now i just want to clear my doubts like what are the reasons for this??? and what will be its consequences?? Thanq u..
