Some of my PDF files are in large format and contain plenty of images. I tried many free pdf readers out there but no one can match adobe acrobat reader. did anyone know any free pdf reader that can perform at least near adobe acrobat reader? i would love if they can run in linux, i tried evince and pdfviewer but if i open large files, they're extremely slow to load the pages, when i use adobe acrobat reader the pages load much quicker...

i like foxit reader though adobe acrobat is free but i still prefer foxit reader
its consumes less memory and fast to load
i think this one beats adobe reader or at least on number 2

Umm... Acrobat Reader's free. Why would you need another one?
It's Acrobat - the creation/design program - that costs money. The reader's a freebie.
