Would you go back a second time to your favorite places?

My favorite countries are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles. My favorite cities are Sydney, Cape Town and Vancouver.
I went back to Australia a second time as it is a large country so there is very much more to see. The first time I went to saw New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory. The second time I just saw Western Australia and I found it very big. I visited Sydney a second time because it is my number one favorite. I dream about going back to wonderful Cape Town.
How do you feel about visiting your favorite places a second time?
Which places haven't you been yet that you think you will really like?

Yes I also want to go back to beautiful places I visited in the past. If given the chance I won't hesitate to spend some time at those stunning places again. Maybe this time with family and some good friends.
With regard to places I haven't visited yet, actually there are a lot of places located both locally and abroad where I considered the best place to visit. I hope I would be given a chance and the capacity to realize this dream of mine, soon.
These are the places I want to visit soon: Hongkong, Singapore, Baguio City, Philippines (for the second time), Tagaytay City, Philippines (for the second time.)

I guess I would. Two autumns ago I went to Vegas, and it have become a favorite place. I don't mind going back there. Not for the gambling, though I could always do that anytime if I'm there, but more for the shows. There's a few shows that I want to watch, and Las Vegas offers the perfect setting.
And it isn't that expensive too!

I would definitely go back to a place a second time. If I really loved someplace then why wouldn't I go back. In fact my boyfriend and I are planning to return to a place we went this past summer because we fell in love with the area and the people we met who lived there. Cape Hatteras is my favorite place to go.

Whenever, for some reason, I have had some bad, or not so pleasant experience, in some place, I, sometimes go, for a second or third time to a place I know I have enjoyed in the past, but, as a general rule, if I can choose, I prefer the place I have never been before. There can happen, as well, as a second thought, that I know that I will get more for my money in some location and, this make me go, another time.

Ohhh, definitely! If I did not enjoy the place then I would not be labeling it as a 'favorite' place of mine. If I had the chance, I would say no to an opportunity to revisit a place that made me say that life does have its rewards. If allowed though, I would also love to relive the moments I had during those places.
I am from Asia and I have not been in the western countries so the places I think I would really like to visit would be one in the UK or US. I want to feel and see the places I have always seen in movies but I am not ignorant of the facts surrounding the world outside movies so before I plan to visit any place, I would make sure that I have security and shelter.

I would definitely go back to some of my favorite places. In fact I am planning a trip to Indonesia this year and I went last year. I want to explore more of the country than I did the first time I was there. I also loved Switzerland. Its about as opposite from Indonesia as day is from night, but I really enjoyed it there as well.

Yes, I'd love to do that; I often dream of visiting places I've loved in the past; not just countries, such as Spain; or cities such as Paris; but areas I knew as a child growing up in West London. I've not travelled much in my time it has to be said; but I'd love to put that right one day and visit some areas of the globe I've dreamed of; I'm especially drawn to places of intense almost oppressive heat.
And I'd also like to visit regions of the world where I have relatives; or where family members have been raised in...such as the USA, Vancouver, Canada, Sydney, Australia, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland &c. Yes, one day I'd like to do this...whether I ever will or not remains to be seen.

If it's affordable certainly I would like to revisit the favorite places again. There might be certain attractive sites, landscapes and local foods, etc which I have missed during the past vacation. So it's really worth to spend to visit again places which are awesome.

Most of the time I prefer to visit new places, because the list of countries that I want to visit is very long, and I find it more exciting to explore a new place. There are a couple of countries that I would like to visit again, but they are not on top of my travel wishlist, countries where I haven't been yet are my first priority. One of the countries that I would like to visit again is Greece. I liked the country, but I was ill when I was there and I didn't get to see all of the things that I planned. I would also like to visit Estonia again, because I didn't get to see any of the islands, and I would like to visit the 4 biggest islands.

I do go back more than once to my favorite places. For five years, my husband and I visited Hawaii twice a year. I would also take another cruise to Alaska. One of our favorite vacations was a three week driving trip of the New England coast. I would love to do it again. I felt a bit rushed trying to see everything in 3 weeks and I would love to see more of Maine and get into the Atlantic Maritime provinces of Canada. Vancouver is one of my favorite cities as well. I live in the Pacific Northwest so I drive up there frequently

Hi Maxine,
There are many places where I have gone several times and there are many places that I loved and would love to visit again. No second visit is the same as the one before. I would love to visit parts of Spain and Italy again and I want to go to Buenos Aires soon although I have been there several times.

From the places that I already visited, I really liked Bahamas and I definitely would visit a second time, because at the first time I was really young and there were places that I couldn't visit because I was not older enough. Also, I think there are plenty of places to go there that I didn't went, because we stay mainly in Nassau.
From the places that I never went and I really like to go, on the first place of my list is Vegas followed by Japan.

I love revisiting places I've been. I usually go out to the East Coast (to see my daughter as well as vacation) at least once a year. I love going back, because there is always something new, or something I didn't get to see or do the previous times. I also drive out there, 2 1/2 days on the road, but I also try to take different routes so I see new things along the way. I love Tennessee, and was through there in November when I went out to Virginia, and already planning trip back to Tennessee in March. I love exploring places I'm going back to online before I actually take my trip, to see what is new or any special events going on for that particular time of the year. I do want to travel up north and the northwest of the country, haven't been there.
