my feet are always dry...i moisturize them every day yet, they are always dry, plus i love walking so as a result i have callous, recently their intensity is scaring me, its like i am touching some ragged wood edge rather than my skin. please suggest some good treatment which would give me a soft smooth skin under my feet.. thanks a lot

hello!
i know some home remedy for your problem. i did it on my hands before and its really effective. so i tried it on my sole..
you can use sugar scrubs. of course, all kitchen homes have it. you can mix sugar, a teaspoon will do, with a small amount of oil. mineral oil will do or oil used for the body. you can then rub it through your sole or feet. you can do it for less than 5 minutes or more and can be repeated twice or more in a day. but of course, its not magic. you have to repeat it for number of days but for sure, after your first application you can see and feel the difference. you cal also apply this in other parts of your body.
hope it will help you!

Yes, you may use the oils you have in your closet.either if its scented or with flavor. The purpose of the oil is to give moisture to the skin since the texture of the sugar might cause irritation especially if used to scrub.
Anatomically, scrubbing soles is really difficult but what you just said, no pain no gain. Just have perseverance and patience.

About the only thing that will really help is to quit using your feet. You probably don't want to do that, so the next best thing is to soak your feet in about a half cup of vinegar to a quart of water as hot as you can stand it. Leave your feet in it at least ten minutes, then scrub them with a dry towel. The dry part of the callous will begin to rub off. Don't over scrub them or you'll have sore feet, but if you do this every day, your feet will begin to smooth out. You'll never have perfectly smooth soft skin as long as you like to walk. As for me, I'd rather take a walk than have the prettiest feet around.

Callous' are not from dry skin. They are caused by the way your foot is shaped, ill fitting shoes and the way you walk. I use the Pedegg to remove mine. The very best thing for dry skin is Corn Huskers lotion. It leaves no greasy residue and lasts at least 12 hours!

I do have the same problem with my feet. I've been told to soak them in nice and warm water every night, for at least 15 minutes. I know i should it too but going straight in bed is so much tempting for me, but it is a bother to have those callous.
