Do you think doing a job you like most is more important than to earn money.. For me, I guess if you have a job and you don't like it why stick on it, sometimes it will become boring despite the fact that you're earning on it.. How about you guys what do you think?

I think you should have a mix of the two - having a job you enjoy is good, but if it leaves you dirt poor it's not so good. I think having a job you love or moderately like, that makes good enough money is always a plus!

Yes that's true.. Balance should always be a part of our lives, we enjoy at the same time we earn.. Thanks for that..

Yes, I feel that you should choose a job that you like over a job in which you hate but make good money. If you like your job, it won't be as stressful and you will enjoy the time that you are there.

Exactly, I would also go for a job in which I would love to work with, it will be your everyday routine might as well that routine is enjoyable and yet you can earn money from it..

I think that a person should love the main job that they do. The money is secondary. Then if you need extra money then you pretty much take anything to earn some extra money.

The satisfaction is the important thing to have when we get in some job. Without it we will not give our full heart, contribution and focus on it then the result is not as good as when we do something that we love to. But sometimes, even if we don't like to do the work but after a while we found that it suit us and we start like the job. So some people said go for any job as you will like it soon and there are others who say that just fo your favorites. Either one you take it is up to oneself.(^^)

that is very true.. in everything that we do in life, it is more important that we are happy and satisfied.. because if not.. I don't think there is a really sense on what we are doing..

When you do something you dislike, you will feel like you 'have to' and are forced to do it. You don;t have willing to accomplish it as it just for the sake of money and we could question the quality we have for it~(^^)

That's very true my friend. Actually, the job i have for the past 6 years, earns me many thousand lesser than my last job. But i realized as i went along my job, that i enjoy the job and the office mates i am with. Thus, even if i earn lesser than the previous, i stick to it, because i am happy.

I think that it really is important, despite the money to do what you love. There has been times in my past where I have had to keep doing something that I am not really fond of in order to simply pay the bills until something better was available. Sometimes we just have to stick with it until we have a better opportunity.

Well that is also true, during the course of our lives we will encounter job that won't fit our specification but eventually we can still find some job that is really destined for us..

I believe that you are right. Sometimes we have to just do what we have to do, like it or not. All while just hooing for the best for something more suitable to come along or while we are creating our perfect job for ourselves. Some people are just not designed to be an employee but rather their own boss.

I believe that it is important to work in something we love, actually, I do not believe that we can even give 100% of ourselves if working in something we do not cre about, yet, money is important also to live well, so, this is not a factor to avoid at all, but, I don´t think that should be Nº1 in our priorities of life.

exactly.. we can't give all our efforts if we know that upon going to our work negative things will come in our mind.. we will never be satisfied with our lives if we are exhausted in what we do..

In no other activity, we spend more energy than in working, being eight hours, a day, at least, keep aside the time travelling to work and those dressing and preparing ourselves to go, if you are not truly satisfied, our lives wont be satisfactory at all, regardless the money.

hi emdjay, When I started my job as a teacher, I really do not feel the enthusiasm on it. This is not the profession that I love but I have to be practical to earn money and to be able to help my sister who was still a student that time and my old parents. However, as time goes by, I started to love my work. Now, I do not feel bored with it. I have learned how to love my students and how to love my job. I find that teaching is not just about teaching the subject but also teaching students and molding them to be an asset of this country. I am proud of my job as I know that it is a very noble profession.

Hi Annie.. I know sometimes despite the fact that we don't like the job that we choose.. it will end up loving them, its because of the people around us who give us the inspiration to move on.. I hope those people who used to nag about their job will finally realize that maybe there is more to it that just nagging about it..

Hi Edmjay! I have a job that i love... I love my officemates and i love the atmosphere. Just the same, nothing beats my love for the choral arts... so what i do is that whatever little i earn from my job, i invest in the choral arts by selling choral pieces here in PHL.

I think that doing what you love is essential, because it leads you to do it the best way possible and with passion. That usualy gives better results and most of the time better rewards for what you are doing. Although nowadays with the job market crisis, its hard to find the job you like and we must try to get the second or third best chance we got.

that's right, I guess if you love what you do, money will just be secondary to your priorities. That is also true jobs are in crisis now a days, specially in our country there are more supplies than demands..

Yes i think if you the things you love most you will earn more money from it.while if you just do things to earn money and you dont like it,the tendency you will not work out the best on you.so you will have a poor performance. In that case if you are in a business your customer will no longer interested to come back and dont even recommend you to a friend.

Hi there! well, if you're living a good life or at least you earn enough to support the needs of your family, then you can choose any job that interests you regardless of the salary you will be receiving. But if you barely have enough, and you already got a good job, then you must stick on it no matter how boring it is for you. You might want to sacrifice your interest first when you are still financially unstable. And then perhaps if you have saved enough money and you have given your family a good life, maybe that time you can choose any job you like. :)

Hi shimi, Yes, Sometimes despite having a job that you don't like make you earn high, we have to stick to it, because of needs, financial stability nowadays are important..specially if we need to provide for our family..

I have worked at a job that I hated a long time ago. I had a wife and young baby to provide for, so I just felt that I had no choice. I stayed working at the job but at the same time looked for something I enjoyed more and eventually I found it. Later I went on to become self-employed and haven't worked for anybody esle since then. I think that if I have to work at a job, then I will accept it no matter what I feel, I will get used to it, and eventually will be doing something that I like, simply because I never give up looking for something better. _Derek

sometimes we are in those position that we can't do anything instead provide something for our family even if we don't want to do out jobs.. and sometimes others can't understand that job requires enjoyment also not just for money alone..

Sometimes I think the world would be better off if humans didn't need to rely so much on money. It causes a lot of problems, and its only another form of trade. Something everyone can get, and everyone looses. That's the only good thing about it in my opinion. But, there are a lot of downsides to it, such as loosing it, or the feeling of needing it to survive. Work is a must if we're going to survive. If I didn't like a job, yes I'd get bored, but I'd stick with it, until one of two things happened. I get let go for some reason, or I get something better with better pay I can actually get along with. Being out of work, just because you hate your job isn't a good enough reason to be out of work. Having a job anymore is a blessing. YOu should take that blessing and embrace it. No job is perfect, and we aren't meant to like everything that comes into our path. Its not possible, nor is it right to expect us to. We wouldn't be human otherwise now would we? However, we are always going to have to learn to deal with our problems rather then shove them aside and hope something better comes along. Maybe something will, maybe it won't. We don't always know what to expect. Personally I've stated my views. I do what I have to survive. Because if I can't survive, then there is no point in living. Now is there?

I definitely agree with you, people tends to rely on money so much.. without even noticing that it only does harm to them.. So you believe that work is a must for everyone? Maybe for some people work is an integral part of survival but for other there are other alternative options to be able to earn yet enjoy.. Thank you for your opinion..

Yeah I guess so, I just doing that I interest....but in certain circumstance, most of people don't do what they interest, due financial problem. For example, people who has law degree, they are so competent in their field but due lack of jobs opportunity, they don;t get job in their field, and they just get job in another field, they don;t like it but money is important

Yes, one cousin told me that she doesn't want her job anymore, despite that she is already a manager of Jolibee, but she has to continue because her family needs it.. she says that its not really her field but that life.. if she doesn't work who would feed her family..

Why stick to a job filled with tensions! Knowing you will never concentrate and enjoy your work at all! You will need to exert more energy to force yourself to work cause you feel some heavy burdens making it more stressful to you.Unlike,If you love your work you'll be enjoying and not counting the hours to reap, as well as enjoying more earnings!

In my opinion doing the job you like is most important than doing the job you don't like but pays more, but some people even if they don't like what they are doing they still do that job because of the money matter.Like i know this person, she has a job and she is not happy about her job,she doesn't have a choice to let go of that job because she's the breed winner of the family and they needed money, she just being practical.and to be honest some people have a choice and some don't have any.
