Okay I know someone who has a lot of different symptoms of something but the doctors cannot figure out what all of the symptoms are. Like what the main thing is thats causing all of them. So, if any of these symptoms sound like something you have please tell me!
Not sleeping at night
Pain in legs while walking
Random bruises when nothing happened
Rapid Weight gain
Anyone know since the doctors cannot figure it out? Anyone have any experience with these symptoms?

My mother has a harder time in some weather too. My mother rests too much in my opinion.

Most of these symptoms seem to have poor circulation as the reason. And I think the not being able to sleep is because of the other symptoms. I would look at cholesterol, neurological, and maybe even heart.

Personally this sounds like something a Doctor should be running more tests on to rule out anything serious. I would think that the Leg pain, bruises and rapid weight gain would be alerting to a doctor to want to get down to the bottom of what the problems are, but I know a lot of it depends on the Medical that a person has and how persistant they can be about it as well.
But if it is Thyroid like others have suggested that is better than being something serious, but still something that needs to be looked into and treated. Hope that they can get a doctor to consider looking into this more and finding a reasoning for everything going on there.

You hit it right on. My mother has no insurance and they are working with her on payments so of course their not doing all they can for her!! No money, no help...
So, because of someone here they figured out part of it is a thyroid issue and shes on meds now. But they still cannot figure out about the bruising and such pain shes going through...

hi lovingmybabies a low thyroid problem could cause most of these as I have had most of the same symptoms. so often nobody thinks to check for thyroid problems when its evident with the rapid weight gain the thyroid is not working at its ultimate best. check the thyroid then have the doctor prescribe thyroid medication for it.
it will really help I have now lost from 210 to 199 which is going the right direction. of course I am ill with bronchitis but am now
on antibiotics so will get well soon. hope this does
help.

What tests have been performed? What has been ruled out? Not sleeping at night is quite common and is rarely a sign of anything else. Its called insominia, and many people have it. It's usually by itself.
Pain while walking, and unexpected brusing sounds like a possible blood disorder, but I'm not a doctor, and without information I can't geve an edicuated guess. Might I suggest you try the symptom checker on webMD? It might give you more information because I know I certainlly don't know based on such limited information.

Its my mother and she has had more tests done than I can even name. Every other week she goes to get more blood drawn. I will check and see what webmd says also. They did finally check her thyroid and their are problems with that but thats the only thing they can figure out...

I think you just have to watch what you eat. Avoid foods that trigger these symptoms, exercise, and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water in the morning, do not smoke, do not drink coffee and indulge yourself in some physical activity everyday.

She cant excerise because it hurts her too much to even walk.

It could be a few things. One of them is high blood pressure, another one would be a pulmonary embolism. This two things can cause most of those symptoms. Especially weight gain and pain in the legs. Both of which can be caused by retaining water. Which will result in congestion in the lungs and therefore an embolism. I would not rule out diabetes either. But blood clots could be possible.

The problem is that you think about something very much. Tension and nervousness always surrounded you. any work does not provide your interest or gain some energy. you avoid your past related matter and think freely. be always positive. your symptom is only that.
