I know it could be kind of nasty but sometimes I couldn't help but laugh. I also tend to laugh when I fall as well. What about you? Ever been in such a situation and what did you do?

right when theres blood and gore then you all crowd around to watch the floor show like a year ago when my feet slipped out from under me and I hit the floor so hard I broke my nose. yes'there was blood on my face and my nose was fractured. four lookie lous seemed entertained by the blood and nobody offered to help me. but the little Mexican lady from the kitchen was there with paper toweling'and it was she who called the paramedics.Christine our medical person shooed the lookie lous away." shows over please leave, mrs Hatley is badly hurt. go .now."She was totally pissed off at people who see an accident as an entertainment. I do hope if you ever are unfortunate enough to fall that nobody sees it as as something funny and laughs at you.You have no idea how embarrassing it is for the one injured.

First I make sure they are okay and then yeah I do laugh if it was a minor fall. Maybe that is bad but usually the person is laughing too if they weren't hurt. I laugh when I fall too if I am not hurt.

hi nikky no I surely do not l augh as usually a fall means someone has hurt themselves. I had a bad fall three years ago outside my favorite restaurant. I noticed when I was in severe pain and my left arm was dangling three teens were watching and giffling. I called to themn but they ignored me. So an elderly couple with their grandson came over wanting to know if I needed help and I told them I thought I had just dislocated my shoulder but needed help to get on my feet. they insisted on calling 911 for paramedics. the para medics were there at once. they insisted in taking ne to the ER and it turned out I really needed help.the xrays showed I had literally smashed the bones in my left shoulder necessitating a shoulder joint replacement. So falls are far from funny and I never laugh when I see someone accidentally fall. I may offer help if meeded though. falls are not funny at all.

Well it depends on the circumstance, I wouldn't laugh if some total stranger like an old lady accidentally slips and falls. But with friends, of course I will laugh out loud! Sometimes my friends would accidentally fall over or stack over something like a dent on the ground and I would just stand there and laugh before thinking about helping them up. My group of friends would laugh at each other if someone falls over. It always happens on the stairs when we're rushing to get to class. That's funny but it's kinda rude to laugh at a total stranger who just embarrassed themselves by falling in public. I try to avoid falling over as much as possible, don't want eyes staring at me.

I feel really bad for saying this, but sometimes, I really can't help but laugh, especially if the way he/she fell is really funny. However, I ALWAYS make sure to help him/her up, and make sure that he/she isn't seriously hurt. I still feel bad for laughing though!

It's a knee jerk reaction, I usually can't help but stifle a giggle. That said, my brain seems to be able to discern between a little fall and when a person has actually hurt myself in a split second and can usually stop myself in this case and rush to their aid....
