Hello there,
I had started a simple and cheap hydroponic/aquaponics system.
I am experimenting on it.
The upper deck was planted with water crest on top and some strawberries.
and the lower deck was seeded with tilapia fingerlings.
Do you have some experiences with aquaponic and hydroponics.
Please share!

Hello there,
how did you do it.
I tried many times with all those food for aquaponics but failed.
I also tried different vegetables but all failed.
I would like very much to grow pechay or tomatoes or any plant possible for aquaponic.
could you share how you did it.
Thank you in advance

Many tropical fish farms do something like that by running the water from the ponds through some kind of vegetation to get rid of the pollution before getting pumped back into the pond. The use many different chemicals so it might not be good to use on edible crops. I am planning on having a goldfish pond at the new house that I am buying. I will run the water out of the pond and then down a stream which has different types of plants to clean the water before running back into the pond. I will also have a large organic garden which I will use water from the pond to help water the garden, This will also help to change some of the water and conserve water at the same time. In my downstairs I will be raising tropical fish and the water that I will be draining off during the water changes will be used to also help water the garden.
