Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho shoulders blame losing against FC Barcelona

Many people have been questioning just how effective Mourinho is as a coach for Real Madrid. With the team's recent loss against Barcelona - in line with footballer Pepe's recent action and the line-up Mourinho played - many people reportedly want Mourinho out. I do not understand this line of thinking. RM won the Copa last year and made it to the semis of the Champion's League, and this season, RM's actually 5 points ahead in the Liga and was undefeated at the group stages of the Champion's League. Moreover, concerning the Copa game against Barcelona, I think the line-up Mourinho played was very effective. What do you think? Was it Mourinho's fault that Real Madrid once again failed to knock Barcelona off its perch?

I think the challenge of this Barcelona team is very difficult one for any team in the world. So there is no shame in Real Madrid losing to Barcelona. But what is really getting people on Mourinho is his tendency to start blaming all others including referees when his team loses. I think the fact that Pep Guardiola has remained perfectly gentlemanly even when needled is starting to rub off in a positive manner on Mourinho.
I do not think Mourinho is at fault for Real's loss to Barcelona and there is no doubting that he is one of the best managers around. But his loud mouth and attitude is what get's people gunning for him. :)
Cheers!

I understand what you mean, with the whole blaming thing, but as a coach and a motivator he has been brilliant. Everyone in the football world knows that Mourinho is a character - his days at Chelsea and Inter can attest to that - but I find it incomprehensible when people judge his coaching skills. As a Real Madrid fan, I can't help but love Mourinho, you know? He has brought a lot to the club. Hopefully he'd tone it down a bit though.

I think this is uncalled for. There's no proof that Mourinho tells his players to tackle brutally and commit dirty fouls and the like.
