sorry I missed most importantly when you update you blog make sure ping your site to search engines with the help of pinging site like pingomatic.com, feedshark, pingoat, ping.in, pingler, mypagerank etc.....

hello there! i really appreciate your help, but i'm not a techy person and i am just a new blogger. can you tel me how to do all those you mentioned exactly? i have no clue on how to start or where to start.

have you started your blog on blogger or your self hosted blog. If you are on blogger so simply make some post around your topic. Most important is you must be clear with the description and title of your blog. Go to blogger setting basics Add Your Blog to Our Listings select yes Let Search Engines Find Your Blog select yes and save. This will occasionally display your blog on blogger Next Blog (the navigation bar that appears at the top of blogger blog). Pinging is something you are informing the search engine to index your blog in search. instead of submitting your blog to each search engines you just submit your blog to blog pinging sites they will directly submit your blog to all search engines.
