Is it ok to make Remake of a movie????

Personally it makes you wonder how many times they can redo a movie and keep people wanting to come see them. I know personally most of the time the original is the Best one, and usually the remakes or part 2, 3 etc. usually never compare. I know myself unless I hear of a remake that is worth renting, I will wait until I can see it for FREE to save them from making anything off of me.

Remaking a movie is ok as long as the remake is a good one. That is the risk that people who do remakes are taking. Their work will always be compared to the original one. So sometimes a remake does not translate to easy money. Sometimes people think the remake is so bad that the makers of the movie will not make money off of it at all. It is fair in the sense that anyone is entitled to exercise their creativity. Whether or not they will make money out of it is another story.

The answer to the title of your discussion is to go and watch Passion of the Christ, a version (yet can still be considered a remake) of some of the old movies about Christ.

Isn't that what happens with everything? Especially music? I seldom hear something original. I think if it's a good remake there is nothing wrong with it. It's good to see how others think (or what triggers their mind watching a movie) about a movie. We all see it through different eyes. And eve if you make a remake you still have plenty of costs to make that movie and if people like it you have to wait and see.

I think it doesn't matters as long as the movie is granted to be better and it should be there are new elements in that if the remake movie follow the old one it should be not nice and surely will not run well in the movie industry too, but to me instead of remake movie it will be good if the movie maker make new movie with super quality
