My daughter asked me what a shitzu was and for the life of me i did not know. It was not until 3 months later when i took my daughter to the zoo and they had no animals that i realised what it was.

Even different parts of the United States of America can have different dialects that will confuse people from another part of the country because they; might use a different word for the same thing that is in another part of the country. If you go fishing then large mouth bass can also be called bucket mouth, moss back, green trout as well as many other names. Sometimes the dialect may be different enough to not be able to understand even if they are using the same work.

I had to laugh when I saw this. I too thought it was spelled like you wrote but it is not. It is spelled 'Shih Tzu'. It is not an English word as the dog origins are from China. I know these things because I have one of these dogs myself. I thought if I had one, should learn more about it. It is also called Chinese Lion Dog, but most know it by the name Shih Tzu.
