Hello mylotters!
Have you ever heard about dream interpretations? It is about when we dreamed about something or someone during sleep, it has always meaning. Persons, happenings and things shown or seen in dreams have meanings or symbol and maybe a warning of what will happen. But I never believed that one. For me, dreams are just reflection of our subconscious experiences. But one day, I dreamed about a white bat appearing. According to my friend, dreaming of what bats means death of one of the family member. I never say any comment. But after 2 weeks, my uncle died because of stroke. I was puzzled but I don't believe. How about you guys? Do you think a dream can be a warning? Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions.

It's not true that every dream we dream can be interpretated (or is telling us a story or is forsaying something). It depends on the kind of dream.
I do believe in dream interpretations but the one who is interpretating them the best is always the dreamer itself.

Of course I do.
Allow me share my experience first. Once I had a dream about a Grandmother was being stabbed by thief or burglar or something like that who broke into her home and stealing things, certainly. Even worse, the Grandma in my dream was my own Grandma!
Then I woke up. In the afternoon, I watched News and guess what? There was a report about robbery with homicide taken place in another province. It took victim of a Grandmother.
If you are talking about sign in the dreams will warn our life, I do quite agree. Besides our brain is dreaming what we thought before we sleep, don't forget the event of inspiration or idea. I mean, when we sleep, sometimes brain thinks about something and it gets an inspiration or idea or something like that.
Do you believe that all things about creativity e.g. idea, inspiration is came from God?
In conclusion, sometimes God send His message while we sleep, by using the brain's ability called creativity, through the dream.
I hope that you get it. Sorry for my incompetent English :)

Only when the interpretation is of psychological nature.
However, i cannot fully dismiss the capacity of a dream to warn or give us a clue of something that will happen in the future.
I know this can be funny and disgusting, but I would like to believe that the meaning of dreaming about human sh*t could mean money. Sometimes, it does happen following such dream. Coincidence?

Dreams can definitely be related to the future. Sometimes I dream about impending doom, like when I dream there's something chasing me. Whenever I have dreams like this, something very stressful (usually exams or presentations) happens not too long after. Coincidence? I don't think so. I believe that my dreams were warning me about future events.
But serious answer now: I don't believe dreams can predict the future. Coincidences happen all the time. If you make a thousand predictions based on dream interpretation, surely one of them will seem to come true simply due to chance events.

Dream is something that could be only a reflection our mind memories or could be a sign that's given by God to warn us. So, I see dream as a sleeping activity that should be enjoyed either it has meaning or not. I don't want to think much about it, I just want to share it with my family as a new knowledge that should be known or warn for us to be more careful in doing anything cos fate will be happen in its time

hello areskya!
Yes you're definitely right that dreaming is also a gift given by God and whether it has meaning or not, it should be enjoyed. But still dreams for me, is a mystery and yet we can't predict what will really happen. Thanks for leaving your opinion my friend;)

peronally i never believed much on interepretation of dreams that many psycologists or even freud gives in their studies!!So in many cases they are just our latent remembering in our mind that while we are dreaming we can compose strange situations or even in some cases real ones but i never underlined as a warning for the future or for the day for example!!

We Filipinos are very superstitious, we believe in extra ordinary stuff like ghost, dreams and etc. I admit that even I believe in those dreams like if we dreamed of snakes it means luck. We have lots of different interpretations of our dreams I don't know if all people believe in the same interpretations. I think some dreams serves as a warning but there are some that serves as a sign of something, things that might come regardless if it is bad or good.

As a student majoring in Psychology, I would of course say that I believe in dream interpretations. The things and situations a person dreams of is always a manifestation of his subconscious - or the things innate to us - at least according to the renowned Sigmund Freud. I don't think that dreams represent the unknown or serve as a warning. As I said, they most probably show you the things that you already know but may have forgotten and suppressed.
