It depends on the over all look of the woman. Some women look good in either style, and some don't look good. If you like long hair, go for long hair. If you like short, go for short, but don't try to change a woman's hair to fit your needs.

It depends a lot on the shape of the woman's face and body. I used to have really short hair several times in my life and it just didn't look good on me. I have a wide, round face and broad shoulders. So, cutting my hair short made me look "pin headed". But, a lot of women look outstanding with short hair. I have to wear my hair at least shoulder length.
