Imagine that the year is 2032 and you get invited to a theme party where the theme is "Life in the 2000s" How would you dress up? What would the decorations look like? What kind of food would people eat at the party? etc
I am not sure about the decorations and the food, but I would probably dress up as an ipod, a Blackberry smartphone, a facebook account or a contestant from a realityshow. Maybe I would bring a guitar and pretend that I was one of the lousy singers who auditioned for X-factor. I am not a good singer so I think that I would be able to play that role very well

I will wear a good old youtube T-shirt. Cos that is the best thing that ever existed in the 2000's. or I will just dress like the way I dress up now. I hope I am still alive by 2032. I would love to see the future, I may also consider cosplaying some videogame character who became famous in the 2000's. I will try to read this discussion again by year 2032.

YouTube is an important part of the 2000's. I use YouTube a lot, and I would miss it if it was no longer available, I can spend hours on that site. I think that YouTube t-shirt would be a good a choice because it is symbolizes one of the things that many of us spent our time on in the 2000's. It could be interesting to read this discussion again in the future. I wonder what kind of life we will have in 2032, I am sure that many things will be different from the life that we know today.

Indeed, it is hard to predict what will happen in the year of 2032, since it is still very far away. It is still 19 years to go, to reach year 2032. Lets hope Mylot is still around by that time, so we can continue chatting like now again in here.

Have you ever seen those 80's and 90's movies with a vision of what year 2000 would look like but their prediction is nothing like what we are seeing now?

I would dress the way my grandchildren dress or have dressed. As I am a woman, I´d dress gothic. I would not pierce earrings everywhere though even if I don´t get the first prize.I would serve junk food of the 2000s. I hope that, by then, we won´t be eating the same junk food we are eating now. As for music, I would have a karaoke

I could be fun to dress gothic. I have never tried that, but I would also skip the piercings I wonder what junk food is going to look like in the future, but I am pretty sure that some kind of junk food will still exist. To represent the junk food from the 2000s I would pick burgers and fries...

I hope junk food in the future will be healthier, but I agree about the choice is representative. Gothic makes you slimmer so you can eat more. And I can hide the witches´ hat and the broom and still feel I am myself

Hi Porco, why you imagine about year 2032? Have you dreamed about it now? I think i would want to dress up as a robot teddy bear. I am still wondering whether would there still be the soft type of teddy bear around at that time. Or perhaps, all the children are taught to love and hug a robot teddy bear...Only time will tell how is life would look like at that time. Hope by that time, i would have already visited your country and meet you and your family.

I thought about this topic, because I once got an invitation to a party where the theme was "life in the 1960's". Today the 60's belong to the past, but one day in the future life in the 2000's will also be a thing from the past, so it is possible that people will have theme parties from the 2000's just like we have theme parties from the 1960's, the 1970's or the 1980's today. A robot teddy bear that might happen one day. Maybe our grandchildren or great grandchildren will be hugging a robot teddybear instead of the teddy bears that we know today. I also hope that we have had the chance to meet before the year 2032

Definently wear yoga pants, strike yoga poses, carry an iPod, and ask everyone "Do you want to be my facebook friend?
For the food there would have to be fancy cupcakes and edible arrangements, they are so popular right now.
