I always get tired of waiting in the tiny room at the doctor's office after the nurse leaves saying "The doctor will be with you in a few minutes." In my experience the doctor never showed up in a few minutes. Its especially frustrating when the kids are with me.

You speak the truth! The reason for the long wait is: doctor's offices always overbook, meaning too many patients for the small medical staff. The best thing to do is bring your own entertainment (magazines, books, etc.) Do not touch the magazines and pamphelts in the doctor's office because who knows who has touched them. Best of luck!
