Which do you hate more putting away your groceries when you get home or do you have grocery shopping? If i dont have a list or have any idea what i want for dinners for the week then i would be miserable at the grocery store, but if i have a list and have figuered out what i want for dinners then im pretty good at the store. I like going every week just to get the buy one get on frees. I went today to get the buy one get one frees and saved 27 dollar at the store and got a lot of items at first the bill was over 50 dollars but getting the buy one get one frees tyhat we do eat its worth it at the end of the week i think. I am not a fan of getting home and putting the items away at all.I hate trying to clean out the pantry and try to find room and then to find room in the freezer and fridge but since the fridge was cleaned otu today it wasnt a bad trip to the store at all.

Can I hate both? Coming up with a list for dinners the following week is already hard for me, so there goes grocery shopping as well. And then putting them all in the cupboard and the fridge also means taking out stuff that are expired, or not needed anymore too. So, more work. Plus, I have to pay for the groceries too!

Grocery shopping seem to be my wife's responsibility. My job is to take her to the shopping mall and drive her home after that. It was true when I was traveling alone. I did my grocery shopping and put them away at home. You are right about a shopping list. If we don't have it ready, shopping can be a bit confusing. My wife often bought the wrong things without that list. Or she got home complaining about things she missed at the mall.

Putting away groceries, by far! I don't mind grocery shopping as long as I have a list and I'm not hurried or tired, but I absolutely hate to put things away once they're home. I don't have to clean things out to put them away, I just don't like to do it!

There is no question or thought about the answer to this one. I would much rather be the one going to the grocery store than putting stuff away. The same goes for laundry. Even if I have to separate by color and all that the way my wife likes it I would much rather do that then put the clothes away so I am consistent both ways. Of course being the good husband that I am :) I put away my clothes and she hers and we do the grocery shopping together and put away together... but I still have my preferences. Great question... I've got to shop with a list or else I'll overspend! I try to figure out our meals for the whole week and then write down what we need - and looking through the pantry and fridge to see what we have or don't have. I love looking for sales and using coupons . . . it's a great feeling to see how much you saved when you see your receipt! Every food item has its place . . . our pantry is divided into sections and our fridge is organized that way too (well, somewhat), so when we put away our groceries, it's a snap. I just have to do it quickly because when we get home from grocery shopping, my little son wants to have a nap, so I put away all the items that can spoil quickly just so I help my little guy get to sleep - hee hee.

I like to shop only if I have a grocery list. I am so lost without a grocery list. I do not like to put groceries away because I never know where to put things. I shop once a week instead of shopping on a daily basis. I also make sure that I have my coupons ready and only use coupons on products I use.

I love grocery shopping. I always have a list of what I need or I'll just wander aimlessly and add things that attract my interest into the cart. Then when I return home, I'll realize there are things that I need to use and forget to buy. I also can compare and choose the items that I want in my kitchen.
