Im kinda new to mylot.com and I was wondering what are different ways to get your rating up?

Hello James, Only way our rating goes up is to write quality content on our responses and comments as we are rated by other users for the quality content of our responses and comments.There is no other way that our rating gets improved or fall back so focus more on quality.

Exactly. Quality responses are to be posted and we should make friendship with others who will encourage us.

Thanks guys! But there isnt another way? does it not have to do with how many discussions you make?

No it don't have anything to do with the number of discussions responded or started.

Hi Welcome to mylot just keep on posting in discussion and when you reach 100 post you would be able to see your rating just make sure you post is related to the topic and just have fun, no spam no referrals link in post to be in good standing always reply back to the response you get if you don't the those who posted in your topic would feel you ignore them

yes. We must reply the responses received each one differently in a detailed manner. We should not write oneliners or one word replies. Spamming --we cannot post the same answer for all responses. Write only what you are fully convinced and not for the sake of simply writing.

james-- if you have friends who are already members of mylot for a long time, then they can guide you about the process of making friendship and rating of discussions. Some members get 100% rating a few others get less than that depending on extent of interest showed by their members to be give good rating. After your reaching 100 posts you will have power to rate.
