The best way to learn a language

hello everybody I am writing this because some curiosity
I would like to know what is the best way to learn a new language and of course I know one has to be disposed to do it,
but I want you to answer taking into account your mother tongue because it's not tha same if a american person wants to learn spanish than backwards.
Im posting this here because right here there are people from all around the world and I think all the answer could be different in addition the lenguage you chose to learn is not the same
a few ones chose japanese, italian, german, arabic etc... and their mother tongue is spanish, chinese, french etc..
so post your answer with your methods to learn a lenguage

The most important is, you have to had an interested with it.That will make more easily to learn, on everything not just on language.
I have my ability on English from watchin the movies.I listen their talk and read the text.But with this way, you will get a weak on writing.

Well I am learning English and Japanese. What I need to to in learning foreign languages is more practice in using it in our daily conversation, more reading books in language target, and try to listen to songs in Japanese or English but my favourite one is watching films in Japanese or English. It works, try it :)
It is simple and fun.

I think depends of the language that you want to learn. I mean, I always had an idea of English, so, I try to study watching movies and series without subtitles and joining international forums to try to improve my writing too. Spanish is the same thing too.
But, for languages that I don't have no idea like Japanese, which is the next language I want to learn, I'll find a teacher and study in a normal class.

i am a chinese and im learning english. so my way of learning a foreign language is listening to the english news and reading books. besides my course in english, i also do as i can to get touch english

The best way to learn the language is to be honest and to be patient and ofcourse u have to be serious and effort.I was learning now a hungarian language and its really hard for me.But i only try to study and give effort and patient,and now i started to understand already and i spoked already.

Hi, D6000tm, I think that it depends on the time you have and the system you use.
I'm Bulgarian and my mother tongue is one of the Slavic languages. When I was in the third grade in school I began to study Russian which is a language of the same group. That's why I didn't exert special efforts but now I can use this language.
When I was in the kindergarten I began to learn French. He belongs to the group of Roman languages and it is more different but I spend many years learning it with a good system.
If you want to be fluent in English maybe you should take a course.

Try to think of what language you wanted to learn first. As for me I wanted to learn the Korean Language. There is a strategy on what kind of learning skills is needed for those who wanted to learn a new language.

Base in my own experience, I think the one of the best ways to learn a language is to put your heart into it. Learning doesn't just happen in one setting and in one time. It is by process.
I really took it seriously since I find it interesting. I would watch youtube tutorials and repeat it again and again. Aside from that, I watch movies in that language. By watching, I don't just learn a language but also their culture.
Immerse yourself to the language you want to learn.

The best way to learn a language is to be honest and put all the dedication and effort into it.If I have to learn any language then I watch you tube videos and movies relating to that language.
