Joe Paterno is Dead

I think that this is one sad story. I had never heard of Joe Paterno until the Penn State Scandal because I am not a sports fan. He did so much good but he made a major mistake in how he handled the Jerry Sandusky situation. And that cost him in his later years and last months. It is certainly a blemish on his otherwise outstanding reputation. I wonder if the disgrace hastened his cancer and caused death earlier than might have occurred. I hope that he had a peaceful passing but he must have been very heavy hearted. Personally, I feel sad for him and his family. I hope that he can rest in peace.
