I Hope I'm Not Late To My First Class

Well don't sit there typing get out and run for the bus

I am one that is always there ahead of time...if I am going to be late I probably wouldn't go at all...not to classes but like to church etc.

hi stephanieannc Its been years but oh yes I went to the U of CA at Irvine and my goodness no shuttle buses we had to walk and I always was five minutes late getting to my Latin classes so I learned to always have a free period before Latin so I could have time to not have to run all across the campus. I was in my forties so it was hard enough being an older student and being too heavy without the foot race every Mon ,Wed and Friday.

Back in my college days, yes there were few times I get late to class but the lecturer looks like they don't care if you get late or early as long as you don't miss the class. Most of the time, I wait for the bus an hour before the class start. I rarely woke up late and if that happened it must be because I got some extra activities with certain societies, clubs or events.(^^)

I am proud to say though our house is very far, I still manage to be in class on time. My parents doesn't want me to rent a boarding house near the school so I just have to travel from and to the school and it takes 2 hours back and forth when there is no traffic. My father taught me the importance of being early. When you are early, that way you will not get behind. Being late is not tolerable when we will have jobs so through this way, I am practicing myself to be early for work.

Yes, I am usually late for at least a half hour to my one hour class. XD The key is to arrive in a relaxed manner, you know you are going to be late so don't run and come into the classroom, panting , sweaty and nervous.... such a bad first impression XD

Oh no. I don't have to do the shuttle bus thing or run in the rain though. It might be different if it were under those circumstances. Just try to leave a little early so that you are sure to make it. Good luck!

Hi there Stephanie Ann C: I am not a student right now but I remember that I love to be at time for my classes so I go to sleep early and I wake up to go to my classes when I have to be at college in the morning and it works for me. ALVARO

I try not to be late for my classes, but at times, i really can't help it. the bus might come late, or i might leave home just alittle later. However, i think all of us should develop a good habit of leaving about 10-20 minutes earlier so no matter what happens, we will not be late for class. we have a problem because we don't want to be the first to arrive in class and therefore, we run the risk of reaching late.

During my whole student life, I usually got late to my classes, specially when they were in the morning. But, this last semester, I could not get late anymore because the grades were given based on the punctuality too, so, I always arrived at least 5 minutes earlier of the time of the class.

I'm always a late for my classes. Although i've already finished my studies, but before, I'm a disaster. I always come to school late. Maybe because i always woke up so late too, because i had a drink that night. LOL. Usually i had hangovers that's why. LOL. I miss going to school though. LOL.

First time it is not a great time. It continues in everyday means it is not advisable. we are responsible for making our time effectively. By proper time scheduling and excellent planning will avoid such thinks. i am not usually late to my classes.Mean while passions also important one in carrier..
