Commercials on cable TV - viewers should get rebates!

One reason why some of us had subscribed to cable television is to have commercial-free shows. Well, that's true in my country where ads are really abundant to the point that some free channels are airing commercials in excess of what the law mandates. What's worse is that we not only have to bear with these commercials, but we also have to bear with the rising cost of cable TV fees. I mean, I feel we're not really getting what we paid for and that we should at least get some rebates or something since these companies had paid huge amounts for their ads aired to those cable TV service providers.
