Hi mylotters as you all know that I am into blogging, I write and publish if I feel to. I also get some pictures available on net and grab any pictures from reputable sites and put a sentence on end image source: somesites.com (example only). However while reading a blog from Amy I think the tittle is Blogging with Amy, this not secure that my images are legal it is still violating copyright even if I mentioned the sources. Can anyone suggest me a good source of images that is free and wont give trouble in future time. I hope that some mylotters here who also uses images for their blog can give me some advice.

Simply search for 'royalty free photos' or 'copyright free photos'. There are many sites which provide stock photos which you can use free (provided that you follow the Terms of the site, which may say you have to include a copyright notice or a link to their site).

yeah.. i was wondering about this too.. i always copy paste URL instead, and if want to hide the URL i will download the picture 1st. The only thing i do is not to copy &paste picture with watermark.. anyway the picture is useless with watermark.
what hapen if we violate copyright? and how can we know if the picture has any copyright? it doesnt mention anywhere..

How do we know that one photo is copyrighted or not? There are so many photos on the internet I can not differentiate one copyrighted photo from copyright free photo. Is there any label for a copyright photo?
