I think it is unfair to Hongkong people because whether you are buying one or two, the amount you pay has a significant impact on the business. I think it would be better for them to shift the shop to China if they do not want to sell to people buying one or two items.

Because local Hong Kong will only buy 1 or 2.
But those people from China buy a lot, as one people come will help their relative to help and they lots of money.
Hence, the shop with "Dog Eye" to look down people in Hong Kong.
As a result, people in Hong Kong go to surrounding that shop to force it cannot open door for business.

Yes, i watched it on tv... still i don't understand how they can tell which people from Hong Kong and which people are from China. Are you from Hong Kong? How can we tell the difference between people from Hong Kong and people from China?

we speak different language.
People in Hong Kong speak dialect called " Cantonese".
Since we grow up in different culture, how we dress, how we act are different.
We will not eating inside the subway as rules say NO and they will, there is video in tube for a Hong Kong man ask them not to eat inside the subway as they make the food drops on the floor, their mother blame the man and even her children say mother is wrong but she still blame all other.
Well, different life attitude.

That seems to be a slap in the face and I understand the feeling you may have now and the other HK people. Discrimination in any form to any people should not be allowed. For sure, if it happened to other nationalities, they'll do the same. But hopefully every concerned party should get all the facts straight first before making any harsh decisions or judgement. A sincere talk must be made and apologies given :)

D&G just give a very shot apology note. Not a sincere one.
People think he will send out that note before our Chines New Year Holiday is afraid that will affect their business during the public holiday.
However, we are hardly to accept that kind of note and gov't do nothing and just do not see and so not ask ... ... what a weak gov't.
I ever see rich gov't is so weak :(
