I hardly can understand what some educator imply when they speak about new math or whole math keeping in view reform of school mathmaticss. we can add new topics, shuffle the mas playing card, move them from one grade to anohter, but in life it is not easy to do so.............

A young child learns the foundations of Maths and every step more is further learning. I know that some kids love mathematics and in their class fall ahead. I had two Year One boys in my class and they had to have Maths work suitable for Years Three and Four. The rest of the children works at Year One and Two levels. Playing cards are fun to play with. A calculator is helpful with working out exchange rates for foreign currencies. Life is easier for some than others. Some people are happy go lucky and get on well in life.
