I just watched Casablanca for the first time

Casablanca is such a famous movie that I recognized it from the actors.
I could see why it was such a big movie, it is a great movie!
The story plot was exciting and original. The scenes were all just so memorable. No wonder it's called the greatest movie of all time.
Before, I never get why Humphrey Bogart was regarded as a movie star, but he really exuded a special aura! Before, I did not think of him as anyway handsome but after watching him in some of his movies, damn... he is soo attractive.
Most of the quotes are so famous that I even knew what they were going to say.
Like..."here is looking to you kid." "We'll always have Paris." "..this is a start of a beautiful friendship."
I was so damn sleepy but I couldn't just stay away.
So what was your experience with your first Casablanca viewing.

yes..was a great classic movie CAsablanca...was really famous when it frist came out..and many people still enjoys and talks about it for many many years..

Yes, I wish there will be no remakes of Casablanca because it would be impossible to recreate this movie. :D

yes..true..they shouldnt disturb or remake a masterpiece like Casablanca,its perfect the way it is..

Some years ago I rented Casablanca at the Blockbuster because it seemed that I was the only person in the world who hadn´t seen it. I did not expect much when it started. But all I can say is that it is one of the best mvies I have seen in my life. Time has done nothing to dimishish its pathos and I cried over a love story that could not end well, whatever the end. The movie was more than a love story though. It had problems that could only happen that way during a war such as WWII. Needeless to say, I rewinded it immediatly and watched it for the second time that same evening.

I wanted to watch it again, again and again! Honestly, I don't like black and white movies that much but this is an exception. There is something charismatic about Casablanca. Every scene is shot beautifully. :D

A trio of exceptional Bogart-Bergman- Henreid, complex characters, memorable lines and phases, a story that you enter the soul and a soundtrack that made history. Finally, although you leave a bitter taste, is a respectable, mature thinking combining a sentimental soul who is willing to sacrifice love for the good of all. A classic not to be missed. Enjoy it!
