go to http://www.freelancer.com/ there are many available job waiting for you as design grapich try it.. any way no need to ask if that is legit because its very famous as online job to earn money.

freelancer.com has a thousands of members do you believed also that thousands of their member are idiot? they will not stay in freelancer if freelancer is not paying.

may be they are just putting down freelancer.com because they are competitors.. like paypal.com do you believed that paypal.com is a scam site? if you search the net some of website will say that paypal.com is a scam site now may i ask are you doubt if paypal is a scam or not? there are existing website that letting paypal.com down and im sure its a competitors i guest it happens also in freelancer.com they are putting down freelancer.com because they are competitors.

Where are you from?? There is monster.com where you can apply with your resume, then there is guru.com and freelancer.com... You said its scam but i have heard a lot about it.. Its just a mediator between an employer and employee and i guess it will just work fine.. I have not used it so am not sure but may be you would like to recheck it!!
