azfarali ..fighting i.e. being nasty, is never ok. I enjoy hearing all points of view and all philosophies, therefore I don't think there is a good reason to fight..

i know but every where in all social networking sites where people are allowed to comment you will see thousands of comments that will be abusing each others religion

Not to forget to mention the believers (religion ones) who scold at those who don't believe in god but still respect everyone. @stary1 you can say fighting is never good but look around you in the world and back to history. All those holy wars. Everybody talks about his god (the better one). You can't be blind for what is going on since it's a fact.

this always happens if different religion are met they argue with each other they will say we are correct you are wrong debate is useless because in 100 human there are only 1-3 open minded and the rest are pride much better not to argue and debate specially if the topic is religion because it will get into trouble because of pride. much better if you explain only your religion to them not to debate with them and tell them that yours are wrong mine is correct because it will cause a problem.

We are created by God to worship and one of the command of God is that we must explain and teach other people and invite other to our religion.. remember that God send down the prophets to humanities to teach them the religion so that they will worship God and the steps of prophets must be fallowed by the fa lowers of the religion. not to argue or fight but to explain them the religion (teaching of ISLAM).

as far as i know god didnt say to follow religion and where the heck in bible or koran it say there that god say to tell anyone to come and follow whatever religion it is or just follow muslim coz they are right. but i agreed that yes its true god said to go out and spread god's words to anyone so everyone will believe in god and let them know good words for them to do good deeds for other people so we will be worthy in god's eye and to have peace on earth and to worship god alone instead of worshiping money, power and other things that will only lead to war and disaster. am i right?

Religion and politics are the most sensitive topics that can turn a friend to a foe. Since everyone is trying to champion their beliefs as though theirs is mightier than other religions is only provoking the sensitiveness of human emotions. The internet is no difference from the holy war initiated by some of the religious fanatics in battlefields where their distorted beliefs caused a lot of bloodshed just to fight for the supremacy of their religion. People should leave their religious beliefs as private and personal matters between God. Trying to be a holy thou art person in public is nothing more than a hypocrisy that could incite a long chain of reactions from angry and ugly heads to retaliate.

yes your right, religion and politics are very sensitive issue that will lead to war and misunderstanding as each have their own law and own belief. as we are not the same and every one have their own belief then better to just leave it alone and avoid talking it if theres other people nor friend with other religion coz im sure no on want to go down as everyone want to win right? so just leave it inside our home and better yet inside our heart, what matter is to be a good person.

I'd reply to this by a famous saying - "If someone lays a finger on your religion and your ideology you should humbly reply by ignoring those comments. But getting into a foolish debate with him, is just like accepting those allegations."

we really cant avoid it as the one one tried to protect their religion thinking they choose the right one and the other one do the same, as for me i will stick to my religion since birth and since my parents and ancestor believe, i am happy with it and contented besides its only the same god we believe so no matter whats your religion is as long as you believe in god and your doing good things then i guess that will be enough. besides god didnt say of what particular religion he will accepted and to save for but as far as i know he will save those who come to him and believe in him.

so you will stick to your religion.. what if you are birth to the religion that are eating human? for example your parents religion is something like that... i mean eating human because i know there are existing religion that eat human so you will still stick? do you still protect your religion? how can you say that eating human is the right way to go to heaven? now if you are born in a religion like that do you still stick? or find other religion?

I think some people believe their religion is superior to other religions. So they will continue fighting. Even in the same religion we can see fighting between followers of different explanation of same belief.

Religion is meant for upliftment of the masses. It is a stepping stone for further progress in the spiritual field.Every religion conveys the same message of peace, brotherhood, compassion and love but their methods may vary. However nowadays people have forgotten the core issues and resorted to fundamentalism and fanaticsm because of which there si so much of hatred, violence and murder in the name of religion.Nobody should abuse each others religion or do harm to others in its name.

People has their own beliefs specially when it comes to religion. But i believe that RESPECT is being taught in all of them. For those people who fight about religion, they should learn to respect the sacredness of their own religions.

Yeah religious conflicts of any time can rather become rather ugly. I think that one of the worst things a person can do is mention what religion they follow on the Internet. But that is their choice naturally. They just got to be prepared for the consequences of what might happen, as people get into petty squabbles about what is the "one true religion" and how anyone who doesn't follow it is wrong. That just makes me rather sad. Religion and politics are two problem areas that rather tend to cause people go to to arms right on the Internet. And there can be a somewhat political element to religion and some people stick by political parties as if it is was a religion. Funny how that tends to work. All religions have logic holes big enough where you can drive a truck through them, but its your belief that makes it acceptable to you. And if another person doesn't share your belief, then who really cares. Plus its the Internet, people might just say things to cause a stir to begin with.

Not only religion does also politics. It beats me why but clear is that it's way easier to talk about respect and love as to practice it.

The best answer to that " RESPECT "...we have to respect each others differences when it come to religion...there is no winning on that.. everybody is right...because we cannot question our individual beliefs and faith...
