Working can be done any where, at home, at an office, on your way, at the market, or even while sleeping. Some job require skilles, while some others don't. You are lucky if you are a skilled person because your pay is better than those who are not. There are still many people around the world who rely on his physical strenth. They have no schooling, no skills and they only have their healthy body to carry out their work in order to get pai. Take a look at the picture of a man who carries piles of boxes from one place to another. He has no choice to change his job. He really relies on his strong back to feed himself and his family. What are you? What kind of job do you have? Please share.

This is true. Sad but true. Sad because even if we don't want to work, we have no choice. Otherwise we will not survive living. It is nice to take vacation from work once in a while
What kind of job I have? I work behind the computer. It does not require huge amount of physical strength. The only strength that I need is to keep myself awake for most of the hours and to survive the chilling AC in our workplace

I see. How lucky you are. You are still one of those many people who work in an AC building with of cours good salary. As you notice that there are still some others who struggle to survive carrying a big pile of things on their back.

yeah I realize that now.. so if ever I feel bored with my job, I would just think that I am still lucky to be in the industry where I work inside an office and not physically slave outside under the sun.. hmm.. I should have realized that sooner before...

All the things there are to do. As long as your alive, you can make money, make extra money, etc. I see people begging on the street that have the ability to work if they so desired to. Even those on disability can work. You get money coming in or not, there are things you can do to make money everyday. Those who refuse or are to set in there ways, think that doing only 1 thing to survive need to change their way of thinking if you want to have a better life or add to your income.

Everyone wants to have an easy life--having all things that they need. But in reality, there are many who have to work like a slave, which in the end destroys their health. People were born in this world to have different fate. Some are lucky, while some others are not. However, as the proverb goes:" Man proposes, God disposes". One will change if one tries to change it.

I believe that working not at home is going to make you more money than working online. I work a full time job and enjoy it very much i like being around the people i work with and the clients that we do get. Its a nice place to work at times and sometimes its difficult but i dont mind not working at home. I do also like working online as well and i do like working oline while im at work because i feel when im at work i can get more done online working when my bosses arent there then i can at home. I cant get alot done at home because im either doing something around the house, cooking or something else and i dont have enough time at home to do work online.

You are lucky to be able to have both at the same time--bing online at your office but I am sure you have to pay more attention to your offline work rather than online work.

Working varies per person. It differs from knowledge, skill and experience. The better knowledge and experience you the got the higher pay and better job you get. I admire those people who has not finished a degree yet they try to work. Just imagine a world without those people.

So many kinds of jobs are available for us. Some require certain levels of educations, and many other don't. Jobs relates to payment. As long as we can accomplish the work, we will be paid. I know someone who has no schooling at all but he runs a succesful business. This proves that educational level is not really important as long as getting paid is concerned.

Dear friend, interesting discussion!
Well, for starters, I'll find myself once that "oldest" age of almost 37 years, still unemployed. I know it's bad to say.
In addition to this I say that my skills are limited. I'm not sure a craft in hand to exercise (I understand a computer and a little bit of electricity). Also I do not have the physique to make great efforts.
I will end by saying that I find myself severely disadvantaged in the workplace. It will be a problem finding one for me in my condition.
However I do not despair. Think positive!

Hi alberello, thinking big is the key. To be able to work one shouldn't look for a job to be employed. One can be a self-employed person. I've seen many blind people working as buskers--singing from one place to another. Maybe working is not a must if one has someone who gives financial support.

hello,
That is true I was so pity with those kind of people that is why there are lot of crimes because of what they are experiencing. right? I am still a college student and I am happy because I know that I will have skill in the field that I choose. I usually still ask myself if that is enough but every time that I look on others I see to myself I should learned and be thankful that I have this and make them my role model because even though they dont have skill at all they still found a job that will fit them.

I would say money is everything. People struggle hard to get it legally or illegally. Without money we are helpless. And as we realise money can only be obtained through work. That is why I said working is must for everyone to keep living.

That's true my friend.
For everyone to sustain their living they must have work. Work will give them the money that will enable them to sustain their living.
Others have blue collar jobs like that man who uses his physical strength in order to work. Other have white collar jobs because they use their courses they got in order to have them.
Whatever kind of jobs we have, they are important because it sustains us as we go on our daily lives.

I sell cellphone load because i'm just college student and i also have my own family, i resign in my job last week because of my school schedule and thesis. I sell loads because i want to help my husband in our financial needs. After graduation i will look for better job. I feel pity to those people working using all their strength just to finish their work because i think they will carry the body pain until the time that they grow old.

Yes, that's a very good idea. You know what to do and you are right not to depend on your husband for living. Selling cellphones is one of the many available jobs one can do. As you may have looked at the attached photo. He is doing it for one simple thing: money that he can spend for his own need.

hi yanzalong, like stowyk stated...working is not a must, but if
you are able bodied and have skills your income will most definatley
bring a better way of life for you..
When I was working I did not have to have a college degree but I did
have to have skills, even to talk on the phone to people, you have
to be skillful of language and the product you are discussing..
I am sure the job this has, is not his choice of work but look at it
this way, someone has to do it....and he is lucky he has some sort of
work to feed himself...at least until he can do better, but he
can not continue to haul boxes and not do anything to better to enhance
his knowledge or skills, and expect things to just automatically change..
It dosen't happen like that, at least here in the USA........

If you have people to support you financially, yes, working is not a must. But for those who have families to feed, working is certainly a must, unless he is completely disabled. I mean no matter how you are physically you still can work to get money for you and your family. Like you said, to be skilled you don't have to go to college or universitiy to get skilled. Skill can grow through experience. You can get skilled because you are used to doing it. I mean you have the things you've got the hang of.
