For those who read blogs, and for those who make blogs... do you only have or focus on one blog topic per blog address? Say you have a travel blog, a food blog, etc? I mean, I had a travel blog and sure had a lot of viewers... but i just stopped travellingand now i don't have much to blog about anymore =(
Recently though i created a new blog and that blog is sort of my personal "blog" where i post anything from nail arts, to food recipe,to online earnings, bible topics, to events in the shopping mall...
If you were a blog hopper, would you be interested to read blogs that are not as organized per topic?
Thank you for your response! =)
Please feel free to comment on my blog, as i find it sometimes, really cluttered. ha ha

When I started my first blog I did the same thing but later I realized I should concentrate on one particular topic so I had to create two more blogs to separate the articles I've posted in just one blog. Now I have 3, one is about family and home, the other is about health, and the last is about travel. This made me start from zero again but I don't really mind because now my blogs look neat and easy to manage.

You'd better have one blog to focus on and keep the contents updated everyday. This will make your blog easily visible in a search engine. Having one focused blog is better than several unfocused blogs.

Yes one blog is better. You can concentrate on it. Have you monetized your blog?

you mean niche blogs, where the blogger can monetize more than a personal mixed blog. The truth is I am after for the content whether it concentrates in one topic or not as long as I enjoyed it. Just make a navigation page for the common topic says news and events, or nail arts where your reader can find all the same topic there.
I will visit your and will see if I'm gonna like it or not , but usually I always like all personal blogs, where I can see they are so passionate writing it.

Hi, I am also a blogger. I never focus on only one topic but I am making post mostly that could be of importance to the overseas Filipino workers.
I was passionate about blogger before but right now, I'm not much into it though I update my blog sometimes when I'm free from work.
I was even recognized last year as Finalist for the Pinoy Expat Blog Awards advocacy category.

I would be intrested im sort of wondering the same question because my blog i did all on an art journal i ended up deleting because it was just awful i was wondering if i cuold do diffrent topics under one blog. Advice though try squidoo they are a little diffrent but they give you pages rather then a one topic blog and you can create many diffrent topics all in a new page and you have a list of all your pages and you cna read many others.

I am not a blogger but personally I like to see both-personal blogs or niche blog. Sometimes I get explanation about the things I searched from personal blog while it usually get to niche blogs. You really have a nice and neat blog. Don't worry about how many people get there as long as writing gives you satisfaction then go for it and keep it up!!(^^)

Hi there,
I am a blogger as well but unlike before I am not quite passionate about it now. Well I am quite busy from work and get stuck with all the works stresses. I can only update my blog when I'm free or when I fell like it.
Though I got recognized last year as finalist for the Pinoy Blogger Awards.

I feel this problem persists in most bloggers..Im new to blogging and started one on the most vulnerable topic of making money online. But i feel i can do some justice to the other topics as well. But don't want to start a new blog unless the current one is full fledged.I hope to learn first the basics involved in blogging and then move to my second one.But whatever u blog, its worthy until it has stuff to read in it..."Properly organizing the blog posts",will increase readability of the audience.
