Are you the worlds strictest parents?
Me I'm not one of them but I do know when it is time to be tough on my child. I have almost 1 year old so there isn't really too much toughness going on in my house. Just the normal toddler stuff you don't want toddlers doing cause they will get hurt or something's.

Not at all..well i am a new mom and my kid is just 10 month but i will never ever want to gain that award of the strickest parent in the world. There is a huge difference in being strict and being disciplined.so i would be a disciplined mother who at times love her child a lot but at the same time do take efforts to make him a right human being..

My daughter is almost one. Second baby on the way. I'm bot strict either but I do say no a child is never too young for the word no. My daughter doesn't like it but she when she throws a little fit because I said no that means she some what understands what the word means. We have rules and boundiers but they aren't set yet because my child is so young still but one little step at a time. Leaner ing to pick up toys first.

I think it is important to be both strict but also approachable. If your not strict and you let your children do whatever they want then that could lead them into falling into bad situations. If your strict then you would have more control over what your child is doing or who they are hanging out with which is very important. However if your to strict then your child might grow up to be resentful, rebel, or might have a problem and are to scared to talk to the parent about it which could lead to some problems as well. Its just one of those fine lines that are hard to walk on. I'm sure your a great parent congrats on the baby :D
