i always encounter it that i receive a notification that the my answer has been deleted because the discussion it was on is deleted. when i answered those topics i didn't see that it was a violation for it to be deleted. i didn't see any tags too from users indicating it is a violation but why is that it was deleted? did the one who started the topic deleted it?

I think that it is the person that created the discussion that was in violation of something (which could be 100 different reasons why it was deleted) I think that if it was someone that responded to the creator then the response would just be deleted but I'm not 100% sure of that I'm just going on how it works with other site :D

recklessrainbow your answer is all wrong. go to the guidelines and read them for pitys sakes, learn them and the dos and donts of
making discussions. there are not hundreds of reasons only the
ones given in the donts of mylotting and also read the FAQ's too
as its apparent you have not done so. I am trying to help you
so you can help yourself and others by knowing the correct information to tell others first you need to know it yourself. this is a friend trying to help you so take it that way.Im probably the
oldest mylotter here so know a few things learned the hard way so you can learn it easier. lol lol

Hello jadoixa,
Try to read guidelines again thoroughly and always try to correlate discussions with the guidelines before responding may be then you will have lesser responses deleted by the admin.
It happens when the discussion violates guidelines and it reported to admin or admin catches it himself then admin deletes them and all the responses which are under those discussion automatically get deleted.

You got a notification because Admin deleted the discussion to which you responded. Many discussions are posted which violate the Guidelines but they don't get deleted until Admin comes online and finds them.
It's up to YOU to have read and understood the Guidelines so that you know what kinds of discussions are almost certain to be deleted so that you can avoid responding to them!
Some members do add tags to say they think that a discussion is a violation. Admin actually DISCOURAGE this practice and, in any case, you might respond to a discussion before someone tags it. DON'T rely on tags to tell you whether something is a violation or not. Make it your duty to understand MyLot and KNOW what will be deleted! Think like an admin!

jadoixa oh for goodness sakes did you notice nobody is responding to your discussion know why because you have asked a question that is already answered by the my lot admins in the FAQ's that you were
supposed to read when you signed up here so you would know how to use mylot. go to the bottom here find FAQs and then read them all of them as it will tell you a discussion that is made asking a question we answered for the person in the frequently asked questions .also you have been posting without having read or learned the guidelines and the dos and don'ts of making discussions.every rule breaking discussion is not always tagged by us older users, we do not always see all of them, study the rules of dos and don'ts of making discussions.if you are able to spot discussions that have broken various rules then you should not respond to them and save yourself some earnings.

The reason why you're answer was deleted jadoixa was probably you were reported by another user due to a violation or it's the admin himself that deleted the discussion. No, the discussion or any post can only be deleted by the administrator, NO ONE ELse's. anyway, be careful what you post here, some might be a violation
