there are only few ways by which you can earn money through YouTube. 1.Indirect earning: make videos that contain information about blog or websites or some tutorials that allow user to get to your website then you will get visitors and then earn from it. 2.DIrect earning: This very less chances of getting as only few of them get youtube partner call and not all. Hence there only when you get able to monetize you video then you will get paid through it. 3.Sell videos views for youtube or subscription and earn.

i actually just looked into this. you need to have your own account and have a lot of original videos that bring in a lot of traffic. if you can get a lot of people (hundreds if not thousands) viewing and subscribing to your channel then you can qualify for a profit sharing type thing that youtube offers its big time users. the only problem is of course getting that many people and having something that many people wan to see and that is in no way going to be like anyone else since if it seems similar you will get into trouble obviously
