Looking Badly for a Movie's Title

Hey great myloters.
I passed by a place where a movie was being played, but I couldn't stop to ask what the title is, and I really like to watch the movie.
By a way of a little description, in the scene I watched, a community in the jungle consisted of people with cat eyes, ears and with tails in addition to their catlike skin color. Some air troops came to bomb and destroy a gigantic tree in their community and they started running for safety.
The movie looked interesting and so I would like if anyone would lend me the name of that movie if he could remember from my little description of these scenes above.

Okay, this may be way off but could it be Avatar. The story of air troops attacking a gigantic tree in their community, is the basis of the movie. The thing is the rest is a bit off, yes they have yellow eyes, pointed ears and tails, but hey do not have cat like skin, their skin is blue with markings. Here is the link to imdb

If it is the wrong movie, sorry in advance, and even typing in cat people movie into the search engine only brings up two movies one from 1982 another from 1942 and neither have the right plot. There are a lot of movies that are not on the database, due to being from a different country, independent productions etc so my only advice if it is not the movie is do various searches.

I think you might be right leeloo.
Maybe by the cat like skin they just meant those markings, a lot of cats have stripe markings like the guys in Avatar.
I say good job for thinking about this, because I was completely lost!

When i heard the description I thought immediately that it had to be Avatar. But wasnt ssure since he didnt say the people had blue skin.

I don't recognize that film.
Have you tried searching for it online? If it was playing in a movie theater, it might have a website and you could look up what movies were playing at that time.
Otherwise, you could try searching for keywords on a search engine. Knowing the genre and actors/actresses could make it easier.

I have no clue whatsoever about anything regarding the actors or keywords. I just passed by an electronic store selling tv and playing that movie. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't speak the store owner's language and I didn't have the chance to look for a translator son that I could ask him of the movie's name or anything
