Questions to owners of travel sites or ones familiar with the market

Does anyone here run a travel website? I was always interested in travel and learning about new places and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I could "break into the market" preferably to write for a travel website, rather than run one myself. Thanks for anyone who can help!

That is a good question. I see you wrote this a year ago, but wanted to know the same answer. You could check some freelance writing sites that may have that category for site owners seeking a travel writer. Did you ever find any travel sites? If so, could you offer some insight? Travel writing is one of my favorites.
