Wish me good luck! I am a little nervous because I don't know what am I going to encounter. I have attended a classes and I got all A's, ahihihihi... I really wanted to be a nurse aide to help the elders and to take care of them.
However, I would be going back to school after I settled in and get a job.
What about you? What are you taking if you are still in college. Are there are any other programs or courses that you are planning to take when you graduate?

I wish you the best of luck. I think it is great that you want to help the elderly. Many people do not like to do this. I know how important it is to take care of people who need help. My husband is out of work because of a serious foot condition and I am taking care of him full time and also attending school. It has been hard, but my husband comes first and foremost. Before my mother-in-law had passed away I had taken care of her and it was a great experience because it helped us become closer and she and I shared a bond that I will always carry with me. Helping others is very rewarding.

I was a nurses aide for 3 years I started at age 15 and worked under the Carmelite Nuns at the Carmelite Home.
The day after I turned 18 I went in the Army and became a Medical Specialist. That is basically equall to an EMT.
When I finally settled back home after getting out of the army I went to College to become an EMT for the state of Missouri.
Then I went on to become the first HIV/AIDS Counselor for the State of Missouri.
Now that I am older I say that if there is ever a war, I will be the little old lady with a magic marker out doing triage so the doctors and nurses can know what pt should go where.
I iknow that sounds funny but with all the experience I have I figure it will be the best thing I can do for people that are hurt.
Good Luck on your test
Nurses aides tests arent that hard. EMT was much harder it took 2 days to do all the testing for teh state.
